Diglis House in Worcester

Very helpful staff got us quotes for a taxi home as worry over train strike disruptions. Food was excellent and lovely to eat outside overlooking the river. Room with a lovely view of well kept gardens and the river.

Lovely location down on the river, great outdoor seating areas. Bit pricey but well worth it for the ambience. Good, efficient staff, looks like an excellent place to stay.

Great staff, food and wine. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The location is fabulous with access to the river. Beautiful scenery, very relaxing and enjoyable. Lots of seating arrangements outside in the Garden and patio areas. Inside bar, dining room and lounge. After dinner we retired to the lounge area which was very comfortable with beautiful decoration and equally relaxing. We will be back.

I wish I could leave zero stars…Where to start, so the Diglis decided to cancel our wedding reception by email after we made all of our plans and having our deposit for over six weeks.Our complete party had chosen their meals and booked local hotels, we were completely left in limbo and had three weeks to plan another wedding meal for 50 people.Apparently this was because another wedding party were going to take legal action against them as they wanted the complete venue for themselves. So they said… whether they did or not they went about everything in the most unprofessional way. No call, no apology and no compensation, I had to psychically drive down there to get answers… answers which didn’t mean anything as they ruined our plans which no notice.I never leave bad comments and think its damaging for businesses, but I have no choice to express how we feel and how we have been treated.Myself, friends and family will never step foot in the Diglis again.Disgraceful and the place needs to look at the management!

Stayed here a couple of nights and really enjoyed our stay. Clean and comfortable rooms, lovely evening meal in the restaurant and the breakfast was great with lots of options. The hotel is right on the river with plenty of outside areas to eat, drink and watch the swans and boats go by! Friendly staff - highly recommended. 👍👍👍

Nice setting outside by the river on a warm day. Watch local rowing and dog friendly. Food and drink is OK with good service. Very busy by lunch time as it was sunny outside. Advise arriving before 12 if you want a table on the front.

Great location, friendly service, comfortable seating with nice views.The only dislike I had was the instant like tasting Latte I had, sorry expected better coffee than what I was served. Toasted tea cake and tea we also had was very nice though.

Absolutely fantastic. From booking to leaving it was flawless.We stayed in room 4. The room was clean and very comfortable with plenty of space overlooking a pretty garden area with seating.We had an evening meal in the conservatory, that was delicious. The service from the staff was exemplary. Bar to table, all the staff were polite, friendly and accommodating. We will definitely stay again and encourage our friends to stay too! Thank you Diglis. It was a pleasure!

Really amazing service with very friendly staff. Lovely view from our hotel room and our room looked more homely than hotel like which I really liked. The hotel serves lovely food whilst enjoying a spectacular view of the lake.Only thing I didn’t like was that you couldn’t seem to turn the temperature down in the hotel room so I had to open the window to let cold air in.

A very beautiful hotel on the side of the river Severn. Nothing is too much bother and the staff go that extra mile. Friendly,beautiful food(breakfast and afternoon tea was fantastic) and lovely rooms. This was our third return and we will definitely be back.
