Donnellys Fish & Chip Shop in Worcester

Mixed meat and chips we had for 2 people. I can honestly say the worst one I've ever had. The chicken was dry and chewy. The donner meat was slightly better but very rubbery. The chips were soggy I know some people like them like that but I prefer a bit of a crisp outer layer.Very disappointed and with so many better options in the area I'd recommend other chips shops in a heartbeat.

This is a cash only place. No signs outside telling you, staff don't tell you when you walk in. Place your order and find out after. Lord only knows what they've done with the packaged, salted, vinagered food you've just order. But your not getting it. If you live in the 1950s and carry a wallet of cash with you, pop on down. If you live in the 21st century, avoid it like the Covids!

Incredibly delicious food, outstanding fish and chips - tasty crisp batter and super fresh tasting cod. Pineapple fritters and chicken bites also a real highlight. Fantastic find!

Very impressed with quality and quantity of food. Ordered a small mixed meat and Chips (was more like a large) the food was delivered fast. Both donner and chicken meat tasted beautiful, the chips were so nice (proper chippy chips) this was my first time coming to this fish and chip shop and I can safely say I will be coming again.

Large cod & chips, purchased 7:30 in the evening. Quality of ingredients was fine; large loin of fish although far too many chips in what was a 'small' portion. However, for a full TWO hours afterwards I could still not rid my mouth of grease. When home, I even washed my lips with Pear's soap & water. Never again. Greasy, greasy, greasy!!

Ultimate combi for fish and chips with customers service. Donnelly's Fish and Chip bar was found to be a very friendly place to order fish and chip. With decent size portions and a must try 'Irish' curry sauce. Prices were reasonable and quick service, with the option to eat in or take away. Well recommended and would use again.
