House Worcester in Worcester

Awful customer experience. Had a table booked and turned up couple of minutes early, you could see the look of distaste in the bar man / waiters face because we approached the bar. Snapped at us to wait by the door in front of the rope - there was no rope there! Then he went back to serving at the bar, still look at us sideways. He then had a chat with a female colleague and announced to us that the kitchen had gone down. Will not go back there and definitely would not recommend it to anyone

The food was of the most excellent quality and I would without doubt recommend it. Fillet steak literally was melt in the mouth.Service was great; welcoming and helpful.The only disappointment for me was the seating, which was too low for the tables and required extra cushions. I think the idea was to make it more lounge style, but it felt like you weren't in a good eating position, feeling rather awkward and uncomfortable.Overall, the experience of Ounce was pleasant and the cosy atmosphere made for a very delightful evening.

Food was excellent. Fillet steak that melted in the mouth. Lovely ambience, comfortable seating, great service. Tempted by the puddings too. Chocolate orange brownie was the best choice!

There is little left to be desired with the food, a superb selection of cuts and cooked to perfection. Our cocktails and drinks were also excellent.Unfortunately, when being seated we were not informed of the table only being ours for 90 minutes. This meant that we were rushed from our table with little over 10 minutes notice, not fantastic when we had a bottle of wine we had ordered during dinner.If you want a fantastic steak with excellent drinks, this really is the place to go. It’s just such a shame the end of our meal was ruined without us knowing the turnaround time.

Excellent food service and atmosphere. Specialty steaks whilst top quality are a little overpriced compared to say Miller and Carter and The old chequers who have the same supplier.

Tastefully decorated and furnished. Delicious steaks, in fact cannot fault the food or the service. Great prices. Really highly recommended.

Omg best steak I've had cooked for ages.. Medium rare... Portion sizes are just right so plate not overloaded... Definitely recommend... Do the once nights do pay per once of steak ordered.. Will definitely be returning...

Visited on a Sunday and got to enjoy their incredible Sunday Roast offering. It was our first time and I cannot sing this place's praises enough. The food was to die for, and we almost needed rolling out of there! The Butcher's Boards were particularly incredible. We will certainly be coming back again at some point in the future!

Saw Ounce recommended on a local Facebook page and desperately wanted to try it. It was even better than I expected. The staff were fantastic and despite being busy, nothing was too much trouble. The atmosphere in the outdoor cabin was so wonderful even though we were the only ones in there!!! I have nothing negative to say for which I apologise!!!

Best steak in Worcester, went for the pound for an ounce deal had the best rump steak i've ever experienced highly recommend. Nice atmosphere outside.
