Great old worldly place with loads of character & a well kept pint of mild. They also do lovely food there to. Looking forward to going back soon. 😀

Lovely little pub, and quite unusual, as it was lunch time we had some sandwiches which were lovely very friendly staff

Love this place and people. A.well pulled pint and not too pricey. Can get busy in the summer which shows how popular it is. Some bits are a bit ramshackle the outside mens toilet for example but that adds the charm. Great to see in in the day with the church in full swing. Also in spring and the tree blossom is glorious.

Beautiful historic pub, dog friendly and good beers. Be sensible, if you're expecting food, call ahead. Staff base is small, so if there are covid absences then the kitchen might be called off last minute.

My local and just the best. Real traditional pub set in Claines church grounds. Dog friendly with a lovely outdoor seating area and covered booths. Really good selection of ales and fantastic scotch eggs.

Really cosy pub in the grounds of the church. Very busy when we got there but great bar service and some dry 'pods' outside to sit in and avoid the rain. New to the area, but will be coming back again soon

A beautiful pub surrounded by some excellent natural scenery, The Mug House has some very intriguing history. Would be great to see some more interesting cask and draught beers than the usual Banks's line-up.

Love this place as always. Only offers food at lunchtime but it is so delicious. Ham egg and chips only but the ham is fantastic and you get choice of eggs - chicken or duck. Very nice inside as the pub dates back to 17th century.
