Proper pub downstairs with nice atmosphere and well kept beer. Lovely room (Elgar) with the maddest Baroque confection of a bed I'll ever sleep in. Opted for "continental breakfast" which is delivered to the room in a vintage style picnic basket. Toiletries and robes too. Puts many pricier places to shame.

We stayed here for 2 nights. IT was absolutely brilliant fantastic cooked breakfast one morning and a superb continental brought to our room the next morning. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to stop in Worcester. So close to all the cathedral, shops, bars and restaurants, perfect

This would be 5 stars if the management would help the staff out!Having run 5 pubs I was dismayed to see the hard working rocker bar man(sorry forgot your name) and kitchen staff struggling with the sheer amount of people, whilst the manager sat upstairs! This confirmed by the regulars.It’s a fantastic building with great drinks and food, but the owners need to sort the managing of the pub outOnly other minor, no wine glasses

My friends took me there for the award winning pies. Such a lovely cosy place. Staff friendly and very helpful with recommendation. The pies were very good as well, I can see why they are award winning pies. Definitely worth going.

Great pub with good drinks. Fantastic service and an excellent beer garden with patio heaters at each table and undercover. Really enjoyed it.

Nice pub with good range of ales and decent non-alcoholic options. It's fairly pricey, but that's to be expected for Worcester.

A great little pub with really nice accommodation. There was a good selection of beer and the breakfast was excellent… what else can you ask for.

Nice pub, good beers including Purity. Staff very loud though and too busy talking to their friends and/or regulars. This made ordering not the easiest thing. A bit disappointing really.

A very friendly traditional pub with a good range of real ales and extremely helpful, sociable and cheerful staff. Food is available although I didn't partake so can't comment. Beer prices are very reasonable. The pub is divided into several smaller rooms rather than one large drinking area, which gives it its charm and character.
