I don't know if it's just because this was the first pub I'd been in for however many months, but I have no notes on the whole experience. The drink? Freshly squeezed. The food? Justa lika mamma used to make. The ambiance? Warm, like Christmas at nana's.

Great old building, lots of character. Had Bathams Bitter was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great visit.

Excellent range of beers and inexpensive, good quality food. Traditional, olde world style pub. Very busy on the night we were there but staff were very pleasant and friendly. My only criticism would be that the toilets weren't in a great condition, with no hand cleaner as the bottle was empty.

Three of us eat tonight the 28th NovemberI had the steak at £12.95 mine was excellent the best I have had in a long time come on Savoy Grill £45 and this was £12.95colleague one had he citrus chicken and raved about it and he is not easy to please. No 2 had the the fish in batter I don't think it was cod but he said it was excellent............well done

Fantastic Mothering Sunday lunch, my pork was cooked to perfection. Kids catered for, nothing was too much trouble. Looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend.
