The Lyppards Fryer in Worcester

Good food, very occasional something is missing and sometimes even thou I order by phone can take quite a while for order to finally get done

Always recommend the Lyppard fryer to all my friends and love their food myself but after tonight I will definitely never go again !!!!The woman who served us tonight was beyond rude and absolutely in the wrong job !!!I thought at first maybe it was me but then I watched her serve the next gentleman after me and she was exactly the same just blatantly rude 😡It was 7.20pm so she wasn’t tired !We have now named her the GROWLER ! ! !Thank you and goodbye forever 😥

I have to say a massive 'thank you' to the staff at Lyppard Fryer after they went above and beyond for me today. I asked for a medium cod and chips and was told it would be 5 minutes as they fry the fish fresh (excellent!). I said I would have to wait in my car as I am disabled and can't stand for long - they actually came to my car to give me my order and the young lady told me that they had also swapped my fish to large at no extra cost. Such random acts of kindness deserve recognition so thank you all for your amazing service and the cod was beautiful - too big for me but Bonny the Labrador was more than happy to help with its consumption!

Appalling service for customers who have supported it for over 20 years. Oblivious to the queue including children stood outside so obsessed are they with internet orders for deliveroo and the like. Go to Seacrest London Road instead who care about proper customers.

Food is excellent, but sadly the service is slow because they are so popular. They now cater online collection, just eat delivery and walk in orders. They struggle to deal with the walk in orders . I waited for 30 mins in the cold to order. Would recommend online pre order until they can improve their walk in service

We ordered on just eat, not instore so can't speak on the staff or premises itself. The food was excellent, all freshly prepared and piping hot.Our only issue was we asked for a mixed kebab and in the options further down we were forced to select only one type of meat. We thought, oh maybe someone there will read the order and see that we selected mixed but unfortunately we did only get the one selected meat and not a mixed kebab.No big issue, was still great and we will be using this chippy again! Just wanted to mention to make the owners aware and possibly adjust their selections on the app! Thanks!

Was spot on! Better price then most with decent portions very pleased. please add batterd chips to the menu. Also would love to see half batterd pizza on the menu aswell as I grew up in Scotland eating this.

First time order as I moved to upton snodsbury and this was my closest chippy. Stood outside for 10 mins (no problem). Got to front of que and they were shouting for collection rather than serve me (no problem). I ordered doner meat and chips. Drove 15mins home then started eating with my boy and realised they gave me chicken meat aswell. Would't have minded but we both dont like the chicken flavour so just eat the chips. Been going to golden gourmet for 20+ years and never had this happen. Sure it's an honest mistake but as I even said it was my first time there they might have made an effort. On a positive note the chips were nice

The food quality was standard of a chippy, no real problems or praise. However knowing usual chip shop portion sizes, I thought best to order a medium fish rather than a large (as I have seen huge ones and didn't want to waste produce), however I regret to say I was disappointed with the size. There was also a small option, well, I cannot imagine having a smaller piece than what I received. We ordered online, as suggested due to covid guidelines, then collected; this process was easy, however I would like to see one change to your website, please make it possible to order without creating an account.Thank you anyway, and I hope covid didn't suffer your business too much.
