The New Inn in Worcester

Mediocre at bestA party of seven of us dined here yesterday . On arrival we waited quite a while before being acknowledged. Three of our group had the roast beef Sunday lunch ,the roast potatoes were small and underdone the beef and Yorkshire pudding were tough the gravy was gloopy and lacked flavour . Two childrens meals were purchased and although adequate no longer include a dessert or drink . We think standards here have definitely gone down and we won't be rushing back anytime soon . This was a pre birthday celebration so disappointing

Stopped for a drink and a quick bite to eat at lunchtime. Wye Valley beers at their very best and the fresh 'cobs' were huge, delicious and fantastic value. The staff were very welcoming and the pub had a great atmosphere.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch here. Service was fantastic, food was even better. Proper country pub. 100 % would recommend

Lovely place with a good selection of drinks and food. I visited here after a walk in Shrawley Woods and had a great time. The staff were very pleasant and the soup was very tasty. Would highly recommend

A true welcoming, friendly country pub. The Landlord is a very jolly chap and the staff are lovely. If you want a phenomenal roast dinner, this is the place to go. The portions will leave even the hungriest of people fuller than they've ever been! So generous and better than reasonably priced. Such a fabulous place, highly recommended!!

Lovely Sunday lunch from a roast only menu. Very dog friendly. Great home made pate. No diet Coke on tap so expensive from bottles. Would certainly go again.

We had a really warm welcome from staff and customers alike which makes a nice change with a rural pub. The car park is offered to walkers at the cost of £3 as the surrounding area is popular with ramblers. We only popped in for one but we will definitely be back as the food menu looked great. The beer garden is lovely, with a gazeebo for cold wet days and a bouncy castle for children who are clearly more than welcome as well as dogs. See you soon

Nice country pub with friendly staff. Food was good. Lots of outside space. I'd visit again.

I had stopped going to the New Inn as for me the previous landlord didn't make me feel welcome as he hovered around watching without speaking. I was really pleased to hear from some fellow dog walkers while in Shrawley woods that a new landlord stepped in a few months ago and the place had a much better atmosphere.On Saturday a party of 6 of us and 2 dogs went for a walk with the beautiful sunshine in the woods. We parked up at the pub first and an hour later returned ready for something to eat and drink. We were not disappointed! As promised we were greeted with enthusiasm and made to feel welcome. The new landlord is a real people person and likes a chat. He has lots of ideas for the future including a meal club that sounds fantastic.The food is very reasonably priced. I had a ham roll with good thick ham in it for just £2.50.They don't take card, so remember to take some cash with you. Well worth a visit.I nearly forgot. They had a bouncy castle up and guinea pigs which kept the children entertained and there was water out for the dogs.
