Friendly staff. Very different cocktails. Greater choice than the normal bog standard you normally get in pubs. Didn't try the food, but plan to next visit.

Starter were excellent! Mains duck and beef were a little underwhelming. Just not as good as the excellent starters. Desserts were excellent panacotta lovely. Atmosphere was relaxed we had pleasant evening. Cocktails were very good.

What can I say. Superb. We took our wheel chair bound mother in law for lunch. From start to finish the service was fantastic, the food even better. It had been a while since we were there last but it won't be long before we are back. Thank you.

After trying twice to secure a reservation without success, I was lucky on my third attempt. And I can honestly say the effort was worth it. We had an early table for 3 on a winter Satuday night. The decor has a welcoming New England barn-type feel, clearly chosen to stand up to the frequent floods the restaurant endures. We were shown to our seat by Archie, a young confident and friendly waiter. Between Archie and restaurant manager (I'd guess??) Ali, we were well looked after all night. Ali was extremely patient and helpful with our wine choice, and generous with recipe information (specifically with their incredible cocktails - definitely try the divine Ginger & Chilli Margarita). Each of our dishes was delicious... if I was to be pushed to make one suggestion, I'd say the cheese souffle could have been cheesier, but I enjoyed it nonetheless, and it didn't have any negative effect on the huge enjoyment of the evening. I sincerely beliee this is the best Worcester has to offer. We're all really looking forward to our next visit. Thank you!

Great experience. Brilliant menu that doesn't disappoint and should appeal to a wide variety of palates. Very friendly and attentive staff. Great range of drinks and a sensible wine list. Our party of six sampled many different items from the starters, mains and desserts. All were outstandingly presented. All were very well cooked and tasted as described. Only the sirloin steak let the venue down. It was very thin and had a bland flavour. Maybe an off day with the supplier but all accompaniments to the steak were excellent. Otherwise, totally recommended.

Yup, it's excellent. Those muscles were a mains dish. Best cocktails upstairs.

Wonderful wonderful restaurant. Had a marvellous time here. Staff were amazing. Ambience perfect. Food was delightful and was pleasantly surprised at how reasonably priced it was. Cannot recommend highly enough

Really lovely gastropub. The food was universally fantastic, and we had really great service from the manager and a member of staff. We had the boar burger, mussels, curry chicken kiev and the fried gnocchi, and all were yummy and memorable. We'll definitely be back again!

So.. Last night was lockdown chowdown night - a takeaway from The Old Rectifying House.Delivered on Thursday we decided to save it until Saturday date night.. I can honestly say its the best 'takeaway' we've ever had!We ordered 2 three course menus which arrived vac packed with really good printed instructions to reheat / cook the food.Starters consisted of Cornish steamed mussels for Paula and Choricero pepper bravas for me.Mains we both went for Rare breed featherblade of beef and for dessert I chose Madagascan vanilla rice pudding while Paula went for Valrhona 70% triple layered chocolate tart. Not only was the food stunning, there was so much of it that we had to leave some for today! The only downside of all this is that I've put on 3 lbs !! 😂😂We'll definitely be ordering again
