Food was brilliant, would highly recommend the steak and mushroom pie. Friends had the Carvery and all said how nice it was. Cheese cake was unbelievably and I shall be returning next week.Only down side was we were given a 4 person table for a group of 5 but that might be down to the incompetence of my group or miscommunication.Other than that would highly recommend to anyone!

Our visit today 13 Feb at 2.00pm for the Sunday Carvery, I selected Roast Pork and Gammon, my wife had Roast Pork and Beef and my son's was Turkey and Gammon, all the meats were excellent. There was a good range of Veg, New potatoes, Roast potatoes, Garlic creamy sliced New Potatoes, Cabbage, Carrots, Swede mash, Cauliflower cheese, Peas, and Roasted onion. Also Yorkshire Pudding and Sage and Onion stuffing, the meals were very excellent

We arrived at 12 and they generously squeezed us in even though we hadn't booked on what looked to be a busy day. We had a tasty meal for the four of us and the service was prompt, polite and professional. We'll definitely be going back, but ensuring we book next time.

Food was pretty average, our turkey was still pink it could have flown off the plate.Without the watery gravy the food would have been dry as hell.Service was slow and got given the bill then had to wait an extra 20 minutes for the card machine.Till went down twice, service was slow.Wouldn’t return.

Woke up today starving and decided to go here. Had our wedding reception here 16 years ago. Very busy when we arrived. But the restaurant manager managed to seat the two us for the carvery. The food was amazing! Hot and tasty. Served on piping hot plates. Probably the best carvery I have ever had. Would definitely give this place a go. You will not be disappointed. Great food and great service.
