We had the most incredible meal, and using our meerkat meals discount it was even more amazing value. On top of that Customer Service we received from Victoria was five star! Really hope her manager appreciates having such a warm, friendly and professional person dealing with customers. We are very happy customers.

Not the best Sunday lunch, beef and gammon ham was very fatty and roast potatoes were just cooked but still had a slightly uncooked feel when cut. Need to cook roasties for a bit longer.Shame really as had been looking forward to Sunday lunch out!! 😞

Fab food and great staff... Caitlin and whoever was carving the meat this afternoon (sorry, didn't get his name) deserve special mention! Absolute assets to the business!

Clean inviting pub in a nice location close to the river. Atmosphere was a strange one when we walked in - sort of a mix between a wake and an 80s disco. A fair few people here but all very quiet.Seated quickly and our waitress took our orders swiftly after. Carvery was OK - only 2 meats available and the gammon looked like it had seen better days. All in all a satisfactory visit with a decent meal

The staff were lovely and overall the food was the best quality Toby Carvery I’ve had but unfortunately I did get served dairy cream with a vegan dessert. The waitress did rush to remove the plate and expressed that nothing was wrong but I had already eaten the dairy cream. For some I can see how a bit of whipped cream wouldn’t be a big deal, but for me it was a massive deal.I had been told the dessert came with a vegan cream so I didn’t think twice before eating. This mistake falls onto the chefs lack of care more than the floor staff as they had been more than helpful before the incident (including the guy who checked us in), especially as the dessert was literally labelled a vegan dessert so I don’t know how the chefs messed up so bad.It was a total shame and did shock me quite a bit. Luckily I’m not allergic to dairy as that could of ended a lot lot worse.I understand mistakes can happen but it does make me lose trust in restaurants that my dietary requirements will be taken 100% serious at all times.

We were on our way to Worcester when we spotted the Toby, so swiftly pulled in and parked, there were lots of spaces. We had a warm welcome, shown to our table, paid at the bar and went to the carvery.Freshly cooked food, generous portions and a good selection of vegetables, stuffing and sauces. The bar sells a good selection of wine and beer, there is ample seating throughout the carvery also some outside seating front and back, fabulous view of the river.Food was a good old traditional Sunday roast. Staff were very attentive and helpful.

Me and my partner came here yesterday lunchtime (14 th December). We both had carvery which was absolutely delicious we both enjoyed our meal it was the best carvery we have had for sometime. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Will certainly be coming back soon.

We met friends here (we were two couples) on Friday 3rd December. We all opted to have the Carvery. It was a very good selection of both meat and vegetables, we were particularly pleased to have pork as an option and the vegetables were very nicely cooked. Unfortunately, the food was lukewarm at best and was cold before finishing the meal thus spoiling what would otherwise have been a lovely meal. The other complaint I have is that when I requested that the staff present us with two separate bills, one for each couple, they refused claiming they were unable to do so leaving us to calculate our bills separately and search for change. Surely it can’t be beyond you to keep the food warm and present a party with separate bills if requested.

Very lovely restaurant with lovely waiters. We booked a table for 6 and we were warmly welcomed. The food was very good with lots of meat options, and also vegetarian options which is amazing. The billionaire bar and the brownie are very good, the chocolate is delicious. Thanks for having us, as foreign students trying British restaurants we really enjoyed and strongly recommend!

Food was amazing. Great veggie and vegan options alongside the meat options. Server was very pleasant/cheerful and helpful (Charley I think?) Will definitely come again. 4 not 5 stars as the chef obviously did not want to be there from the way he acted unfortunately which was a shame. First 'gastro pub' meal out in a long time and very much needed!Edit; thanks for the response. 13:00 25/9/21. Both myself and partner were incredibly impressed with Charley. She was fantastic and knowledgeable. Please pass that on!
