Ye Olde Talbot Restaurant and Bar in Worcester

Last time I went it was table service only but app was easy to use. When I've been before I've not eaten but food looks good and reasonable prices.Been back a few times now. Food is nice and quick service. Would recommend

An unexpectedly amazing XMas Eve meal of meat pies & chips with family. Will definitely return on our next visit from The States. Thank you to the staff & crew - fantastic effort! Well played!

Walking past this seemed to be a warm and welcoming public house, the first drinks order was as you would expect. However upon returning to the bar for a second time the stowfords cider was flat so my chap went to the bar and watched as it was poured from one glass to another which after working and running a public house astounded me. So when I went to ask for it to be rectified all I got was I don’t know what you want me to do as it is going to come out flat every time I pour. So I suggested as a paying customer I wanted to have a replacement drink which I had to ask for it was not offered! Then to hear the member of staff moaning about me as a customer moaning about the fact the cider was flat and I asked for another drink politely yet got a dismissive response totally unhelpful and we shall not be returning to this public house. Such a shame as frequented this public house upon more than o e occasion in the past

Lovely comfy pub, lovely staff , food amazing, I had ham egg, & chips .. lush.. ham was really thick.. Will definitely return 100% recommend 👌 x

The food here is lovely the service is wonderful the staff are very friendly and professional.I left a bag behind at breakfast time, in such a hurry to get to work. In the bag was a gift from my wife that I take everywhere with me, upon returning I enquired about the bag with no luck the evening staff could not find it. I was pretty upset with myself for losing it and headed to my room. Only to find it had been placed back in my room. Thank you.

Stopped here for some food and to kill a couple of hours out of the cold. Cosy pub, nice atmosphere and hearty food. Staff really friendly and attentive, even though they said that they were short-staffed, you really wouldn't have noticed. Will return when in Worcester again.

We checked into the hotel and Christopher at the desk was incredibly helpful and welcoming to us and our dog. We later ate in the restaurant and he oversaw everything, I noticed him working away in the background making sure it was smoothly operating. When we came down for breakfast he immediately came over with a sausage for our dog! The whole team were professional and prompt. The hotel is undoubtedly due a little renovation, it’s tired and a little rough around the edges but looking past that it’s a great location, a good price and unbeatable service.

Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Clean and comfortable room. Brilliant menu with something for everyone.

Had lunch here yesterday 28th November while shopping in Worcester and the food was delicious.I ordered Steak (rare)and Chips, Steak was cooked to perfection.Top marks to Chef.Mrs D had honey roast ham and really enjoyed her meal.Service was excellent and meals arrived less than 10 mins later. Will be paying another visit next time in Worcester City.
