This is a lovely place with friendly staff. It is not a public toilet. If you wish to use the toilet no matter what the emergency is. You should give the cafe some custom. The review by Bret Sheed was unfair and was a misuse of the facilities if no custom was given. It was worth paying to make your child happy. It's not a public toilet.

CRUEL !. Our 3 year old had one of those toilet emergencies walking into town ( she's toilet training) was desperate to go and couldn't wait for the traffic lights to change to cross the busy main road to get to the weatherspoons on the other side. When my wife asked, stating the emergency, the staff refused our little girl to use their toilet and she wet herself as we waited to cross the road with no other option. She burst into tears and was so upset as she had been really pleased with how well she was doing in her toilet training journey. A shame as we were looking forward to trying the coffee here later this afternoon but I think we will give it a miss

A lovely friendly place for our lunch. Really child friendly, produced toast (not on the menu) adapted their offer, gave us hot water for babies bottle and all with a friendly smile. Delightful.

Delicious coffee, but won't be returning as the blonde batista who served me today was quite rude to me for no good reason. I had been polite and courteous.
