Don't go for the budget rooms..... paint peeling off the walls ... Furniture has no handles..... But the room was warm in February

What a delightful place. Stayed here while working over and I have to say the front of house, bar and sinning area is decorated fabulously.The food waa great, although I only ever ordered the burger and chips but why change when it's that good.They have an amazing court yard, to sit outside, surprised it wasn't packed every day. Check photoStaff were super friendly and had a bit of playful fun about them.I'm back working this way next month and I know I'll be staying here again.

Perfect stay. Rooms beautifully decorated and of an high standard. Had a lovely reasonably priced meal in restaurant. Lovely breakfast. Perfect friendly hosts with good customer service

Had a very bad experience there. We were booked in a family room which was above events room. At around 10 pm, music started blazing and it kept on till just after 12. We had our 2 years old and 4 years old with us who were exchausted and upset.After many calls to the reception we had the manager in. Naturally there was no other room to move us. I was highly nervous as my 4 tears son with Autism was finding it very hard to settle, moving to another hotel with two sleepy and tired children would have been a nightmare.We have agreed on refund. However, we would have never stayed there even if I was paid for it. At no point, were we told prior to the booking that our room is above events room and there is a very noisy event booked. Just saying that it was an oversight is not good enough. Just to top it up all the rooms next to us were full of guests from the event downstairs. When they got in the rooms they noise continued for hours. Worst hotel stay and sleep in my life.Horrible dirty carpets, uncomfortable mattresses, and the noise bleed is horrendous. Dirty parking lot. The view of family room into the parking lot covered in litter. Massively overpriced for what it is

Nice hotel... Very helpful, friendly staff.... Breakfast was good but could have had some fresh fruit... On the down side restaurant was no longer open although advatised, bar was almost non existant, they are in the middle of renovation but really disappointed at lack of amenities.

Room very nice staff friendly and everywhere seemed spotlessly clean. On the negative side no restaurant (although advertised) told there were plenty of places to eat in the town centre. No cereals available at breakfast, packs of butter placed on top of hot toast by the time it was served at your table butter was in liquid form.

Disappointing, Advise against booking a basic room. Calling our room basic is to complement it. Paint and plaster peeling off the walls. The beds were the most uncomfortable hotel beds we have ever slept in.The hotel is under new ownership and is being refurbished and the refurbished rooms may well be very nice.
