Attended as part of a private wedding party. Really relaxed atmosphere, great food, lovely place to be!

We have eaten here several times over the years; always superb and never a disappointment - high quality, fresh food, local produce, warm hosting - everything you could possibly want from a restaurant.Decided to write a review as recently we attended one of Feli's 1 day cookery classes (themed around 'A table in Tuscany') - this was outstanding. Feli has a great setup at the restaurant, and is a natural teacher - the class was rich with practical hints and tips alongside Italian anecdotes and traditions. No questions were too big or small, and both my wife and I learned a huge amount - Feli's knowledge is clearly deep and based on a lifetime of experience at the highest level. We were learning not just the 'what/how' but also the 'why', even including several practical ways to make meals healthier without sacrificing any flavor (which he also demonstrated directly!)It was great to be served the meal we had prepared, and we went away very full and very content - we'll be booking in again very soon.

The food here is very very nice. A big group of us went there on Sunday and everyone was extremely pleased with their meals. The only downside but it’s not really a downside is it’s only open Friday to Sunday.

A beautiful place and the food was amazing, the Sunday roast platter was divine! Owners very pleasant and welcoming! Can't wait for our next visit! Thanks again 👍🏻

Never disappointed at this family run restaurant. Friendly staff and fantasic food. Think it may be parties and take-aways only at the moment but they have done everything to make us feel safe.

We booked a family Sunday Lunch here, just after lockdown was lifted. What a lovely find this was! Food was delicious, staff were friendly and accommodating and it felt 'safe'. Highly recommended.

Hidden gem with fabulous fresh-cooked food. Family run, consequently levels of customer service are very high. This place deserves to be busier than it is. Possibly suffers because it's set back from the main road and looks like a 1960s pub from the outside. Also not on the radar of locals. More direct marketing within a 4 / 5 mile radius might bear fruit.

Perfect place for my daughters18th celebration lunch! Very pretty decor for a special occasion but equally good for casual dining and drinks. Great food and super hospitality and service. Booked in again with family and friends another 3 times. Highly recommended!
