Lotus House in Wychavon

The only place I go for Chinese. Piping hot & absolutely gorgeous food. Best in town

Freshly cooked Chinese with big portions and reasonable prices!

Excellent quality and portion size. Super tasty also.

The best Chinese takeaway in Droitwich , great food and excellent service.

Very good sweet sour cream Cantonese super

This is a real up and down takeaway - sometimes it's amazing other times it's poor:( and this seems to be the same response from alot of people recently - unsure if it's dependant on chefs for the day but now on the search for a new reliable Chinese takeaway

The review in brackets below was from 2 years ago just before lock down. We have retried Lotus house at least 6 times since and every time we have been very happy with the service and the food. we now wont go anywhere else. They have really stepped up their game since early 2020 and with a delivery service now, it's excellent. Would really recommend the Crispy beef in sweet chilli sauce and they do the best prawn toast I've ever had. They also do a few mixed all in one tubs that are great value for money. Give them a try!...(Not sure I'll be going back. Was way to fast coming out. And looked and tasted reheated, gave my partner a bad stomach after just eating quarter of it. Wasn't greasy though. And needed soy sauce.)

Absolutely brilliant takeaway Chinese always go there people always polite Always comes hot Best Chinese in droitwich

Best salt & pepper chicken wings, friendly staff well priced

Ordered our meal at 6:20 and were told we would have our food by 7:30. Eventually after two hours our food arrived after the lady on the phone said the delivery driver was late. After finally getting our food we sat down to eat and I instantly tasted something earthy I then spat out a chewed up prawn and a big lump of she'll. I then found two other prawns with the vein (poo shoot) still intact which should be removed before cooking. I then discovered two other pieces of shell. I then left the rest for the bin. I haven't contacted the restaurant directly yet but I will be tomorrow to express my disappointment and disgust.
