Lovely coffee bar in Broadway. Great selection of cakes, coffee lovely too.

Food is not good enough for price. You would expect the best cut of local steak for the price. Unfortunately it’s a sad thin slice of rib eye with some poor quality chips. No French beans or any nice sides. Quality of ingredients needs to be improved and then maybe the staff who offer nothing and certainty don’t come out trying to impress you,

I popped in to try it out and was glad I did, the food was great (I chose a multitude of small starters rather than a main meal) they have a good list of wines to choose from and I loved the darker than usual lighting in there, the staff were all very polite as you would expect in a place such as this.

Ended up booking a table for dinner during our stay at the hotel and found some things were nice while others missed the mark for us. We got the twice baked cheese soufflé and harissa hummus to start followed by the beef tartare and cotswolds lamb cutlets for our mains. I can quite happily say the soufflé was amazing and I'd order it again (got a picture of it). The harissa hummus was ok and came with some veg as dippers - nothing special and no bread with it. The beef tartare was not bad but a bit too tomato rich and sweet for my taste - this is quite subjective, of course. The lamb cutlets were cooked very well, but came with just a dry-ish slaw and no other accompaniments. We had to ask for a jus/gravy to go with it. Considering the prices, we expected more well thought out dishes but were left feeling underwhelmed. I'm sure there are other places around offering better value for money. A bit disappointing as a whole.

Superb food and spot on service. Save room for pud! We booked with some friends for their anniversary, and we all enjoyed it immensely. Might have to go back just to have a scoop of their cherry sorbet.

Lovely place, very cosy in a old setting . Open fire which is lovely relaxing, hearing the fire crackle. Good tasting wines with a good selection and friendly staff. Facilities are very nice. Haven’t eaten any main meals so can’t judge, but snacks were nice. Also asked for some mayonnaise with the snacks and they were more than happy to supply. Very slow at giving the bill.

Wow, what a transformation, the last time I visited the Lygon Arms a few years ago it was dark and depressing. With it's makeover it now looks amazing! A must place to visit.

Had a very nice pizzeta here for lunch. The place has a great 'old coach inn' atmosphere, the wine selection is pretty good, but it's a bit expensive.

Many of the photos associated with reviews of the Lygon Wine Bar are in fact pictures of the Lygon Arms Hotel main restaurant. Whilst they are part of the same complex and ownership they are two separate eateries and frankly you won't be disappointed with either of them. As far as the Wine Bar's concerned it has a cosy atmosphere complete with an open fire in the front room coupled with a further seating area in the rear. There isn't a particularly extensive range of food but it offers a varied three course menu and I particularly enjoy the pizzettas. There is, as you would expect, a good choice of wines and although some on here have complained about the prices you should remember you are dining in a premier Cotswold hotel. I think the 500ml carafe of Rioja at ÂŁ22 is very good value. The staff are attentive, knowledgeable and very friendly. The Wine Bar's opening hours vary according to season and day of the week so I recommend you check with them before your visit. Thoroughly recommended, enjoy.

We've eaten here many times. It's got a cosy atmosphere with log fre. The menu is not that extensive but reasonable sized portions . The one thing that lets it down is no kids menu. We ordered a cheese sandwich for one of the children. It came out as sliced bread and sliced cheese for the same price as main sandwiches. Disappointed with that.
