Friendly local serving a decent pint. If you are arriving by narrowboat, this is the closest pub to the moorings in Droitwich . Dog friendly.

Had just been taken over, so no food. Only time will tell.

·

Lovely old-fashioned pub that would NOT benefit from modernising and tarting up. Scattered railway mags from the fifties added to the enjoyment.

·

Went for Sunday lunch, which was delicious and lots of it.It's a locals pub and very friendly.

The food is very good, moreish, I have not had very much but it was worth every penny, I had Christmas dinner there it was fabulous food and company.Cannot recommend it too much!!

BAD,BAD,BAD, came here today with my children and partner, lovely young polite girl serving behind the bar , we were seated in the bar Wher my children had to sit listening to swearing, food was very poor!! Ther was a hair on my sons dinner , parsnips were white not roasted, presentation was shocking all thrown on plate , was looking forward to coming here after passing a few times and seeing reviews, no potatoes part from two boiled potatoes roasted, burnt Yorkshire puddings, and they came back with ice cream from local shop which I guess would of been our dessert IF we was to have it , which is safe to say after few mouthfuls of dinner we couldn’t wait to leave !!! So so bad

Had a very tasty yet strangely cheap meal here on our way by in a canal boat. The wharf just outside was very convenient with an access path that leads up to the pub. Although quiet (apart from a toddler playing, that was the 1 star missing, I realise they need looking after, but it's still a pub) the staff where friendly and welcoming, and the basket food was very tasty. Home cut and cooked chips are so rare in pubs these days and they made the difference.I would charge more though. £3.45 for a basket of scampi, chips and mushy peas is a steal, compare that to the price they were charging in the pub 2 days later of £11.50 for essentially the same thing and you'll see what I mean.If I'm passing again I'll pop in. Thanks for looking after us.
