River Avon in Wychavon

Thank you for a wonderful Mother's Day meal!! We were shown to our table promptly on arrival and after a short interval, a waitress took our order for drinks and food. The wait for food was not long at all, considering how busy they were. It was all hot and tasted beautiful. A waiter called at our table to check all was OK & ask if we needed anything. After the main course, I ordered a Sourdough Sticky Toffee Pudding to share with my daughter, which tasted amazing!! A genuinely wonderful experience in a lovely riverside setting!! Definitely recommend ❤

Lovely pub on the water, prices are a bit high but the location is really nice in summer. We only had drinks and starters so can't comment on the rest of the menu, but what we had was nice, would come here again!

A beautifully appointed pub/ restaurant on the banks of the River Avon with lovely riverside views and an putside covered dining area and decking. Huge patio doors open onto the banks of the river with lots of different seating areas. Food was quite pricey. Simple food on the whole burger, gammon egg and chips, fish and chips etc. Fish and chips £16.00. We enjoyed the social experience and service was very good. The food was ok but for the money we expected a little more.

Absolutely a fab place to dine alfresco by the river. Right on the river bank.. Service was perfect.Food however Our pollo picanto I must say was the best we had ever had ..melted in your mouth & even down to the salad, fries & dip.. perfect 😋.Absolutely amazing food .. experience was 100 % all round .. facilities A 1 ... excellent. What more can I say but we will definitely be returning for more .

A very busy dining pub with great food. The staff were Very friendly and helpful. I can recommend the pizza's, baked to perfection, The perfect place for an evening meal that won't break the bank.

Our first visit to this venue and we weren't disappointed. Spent a very pleasant Saturday evening with family, great location, friendly attentive staff. The food was well presented and delicious and well priced, the pork belly with mash and vegetables was a great choice, the fish & chips looked very appealing, a possibility for our next visit.

Fantastic service in a lovely location. The outside seeting area with heaters at each table allows for safe get together during these difficult Covid times. Staff very professional and friendly. Ample on site parking is a bonus.

Good pub! Staff were fantastic - polite, friendly and prompt to take our orders! The atmosphere is very good and the interior is really nice - modern, spacious, and clean. The prices are very reasonable for a countryside pub. The taste of the food is fantastic and came to the table quite quickly but the standard of food presentation does not do justice to the lovely restaurant and delicious food. The presentation seems very inconsistent - in some reviews people have posted pictures of lovely looking food, and in others the food looks miserable like ours did. Several items were also missed off our order but we were still charged for them which is disappointing - a side order and extras on a pizza. We didn't complain as we felt the rest of the food was lovely and the staff were fantastic. From the reviews it seems like we are not the only people this has happened to so be aware! The ladies toilet could do with some care and attention - the toilet stall I used had a broken loo roll holder. Only other comment is there is quite a bit of background noise inside due to it being open plan. It's not over the top and is fine for most people, but might be too much for those with sensory sensitivities! Overall we had a good experience and would come back again!

I like this restaurant for its location, its clientelle and the speed of service. Their food is very tasty too. The price is affordable and yes on a nice sunny day, its a perfect place to eat and just people watch!
