Sat outside and ate a huge serving of haddock, chips and peas which was delicious π accompanied with a cold beer πΊπ

Chips OK and service was lovely but the sausage in batter was awful, so saltly and over cooked. I could not eat it & cost me Β£11 for two small portions chips & one sausage in batter... (outrageous! )

Easily the best fish and chips I've ever had. The batter is very light and crispy and the fish is very fresh. The service was courteous and quick.

We turned up jus after opening and the service for takeaway was really quick. Asked the staff about cod or haddock and she informed me about the flavours which helped me choose. Kids meal was a good size for 6 year old. Adults sizes good and filled us up.

Visited Russell's Fish & Chip restaurant yesterday. Had to wait around 10 minutes for a table as it was busy, but it was worth it. We had the Cod, chips, mushy peas and tartar sauce. Batter was light and crispy. Would definitely recommend a visit if you're in the area.

Very over priced.. food was burnt and for the tiddlers menu my children got a quarter of a sausage each if they were lucky. When I said that this terrible they cook more and was like charcoal. I rumbled it in my hands in front of the staff. Would not recommend or go there again!

This is a must to visit. Excellent fish and chips plus much more on the menu. Fair selection of vegetarian dishes as well. Is also licenced.Eat in or take away.

Found this establishment on a whim after having a job to do in the area.THE BEST fish and chips we have ever eaten!Very generous portions and the curry sauce(with a twist) is absolutely delicious.I have seen another review on here stating that the staff were rude and discriminative - this is so far removed from our experience so I just had to come on and leave a review. We are not from the local area ( we are in fact from Birmingham) and found the staff to be extremely polite, attentive and welcoming. A real credit to the owners. Both my husband and little boy thoroughly enjoyed their food and we will definitely be back when we are in the area again!

Almost missed this place as it's tucked away down the side and round the back of their much posher restaurant of the same name! We came here on a Saturday lunchtime during a weekend away, lured by the prospect of gluten-free fish & chips! We were not disappointed at all! Batter was crisp, the fish was plentiful and the chips were great. The coffee was nice too π

Excellent fish and chips. Nice outdoor seating area. Pricey but high quality - not just a bog standard chip shop. Fish was fresh, well cooked, and filling. Chips were crisp and perfectly cooked. Best to visit outside of tourist seasons as it does get a bit busy.
