Sat outside in the sun, the decking goes right down to the R Avon, beautiful setting. Service a little slow but it was busy. Food was good. Recommended.

Went for lunch on a Saturday. Food was excellent, well presented and arrived quickly. I would recommend.

Excellent Sunday Roast dinner. Moored our narrow boat out front. Enjoyed lunch then wandered the streets while the Jubilee street celebrations were underway.

Absolutely beautiful pub alongside the river with fab seating outside. Food lovely. Only downside is if you have mobility issues there are quite a few steps to get onto the decking areas

Visited today around 5 pm on our way home from cropthorne walkabout. Easy to locate, inside and pretty outside seating overlooking river Avon. Choice of around 8 to 10 main courses all home made and sounded very good. We had the prawn and crayfish salad, tomato soup with warm bread rolls, scampi and chips and delicious lamb pie with chunky chips, peas and extra gravy. A very warm welcome from Alison who was very friendly and knowledgeable on the menu, venue and local area. Poppy also served us and although shy was very pleasant. Whole experience was very good and we will certainly visit again soon.

Brilliant food with delicious vegan options. Dog friendly too! Really friendly team here and a lovely setting.

Views are nice only came in for a drink. Staff are polite thought i was a bit pricey for a pint and basically a medium size wine with lemonade near 15 pound. For thatreason it lost a star but on the whole enjoyed it.I think next time i go it will have to be afternoon time to get the sun

Only given 4 so far as we didn't have food. Staff lovely, very polite. Beers fine. Proper old village pub. Great covered deck area to sit out of the rain and watch the river and the fish breaking the surface. Also saw a magnificent Heron and a local rowing by in the rain!

Pub a little bit tired. Menu is not the same one as pictured on these reviews. A bit limited and not great. I was disappointed. No staff wearing masks behind bar.
