Historic pub with plenty of character and a good beer cellar.Happy staff, clean facilities. A little more disabled friendly than it was a few hundred years ago, so be prepared. ;-)

I would give a 0 star if i could. Very poor service, the bar staff very unwelcoming with horrible attitude and very rude! We order food, never arrived until we decided to go as we have been waiting for too long. Food menu very tempting but would never go back again if staff lack customer service.

Due to the poor welcome, and following attitudes of the bar tender. The excessive delay in food when it wasn't busy. Unlikely to return anytime soon. Do like the traditional pub with traditional punters.

Barstaff pleasant and helpful, unfortunately the kitchen was closed on the evening I went with friends, we had one drink then left.

Brilliant pub, we had a very warm welcome with our pup. This is not the same pub on Google.

Great local pub with good beers. The outside area has recently been drastically improved. A proper pub, not a posers paradise.

Lovely pub, great atmosphere, good beers and good prices πŸ»πŸ‘ŒπŸ˜

Much improved since new landlord and landlady. Superb beers with ever changing guests. There's no justice if it doesn't get the Camra pub of the year award for the area.

Great little pub our cycling group was made to feel most welcome, the food was great value, will be returning soon.
