The Hart is a family run pub offering a very friendly welcome, a real locals pub with a good range of drinks at realistic prices. The food is pub grub at its best.

·

Lovely character pub , friendly attentive staff made everyone welcome for an 88th birthday , decorated table , candles on deserts , wished happy birthday . Good roast dinners . The pub is also dog friendly so no problems for our two . Thanks to everyone for making a special day.

Lovely atmosphere and beautiful food. I had a lasagne, which was delicious, and chips, which were plentiful. Paul, the manager, was very friendly and attentive - felt like he couldn't do enough for us. Nice atmosphere, lots of parking

Nice comfortable pub. Was there for lunch food was basic, but very nice especially the sticky toffee pudding. The lady running the bar and restaurant was lovely nothing was too much even though she was busy.

We ate from the new menu and we couldn't fault anything to be honest, the food was excellent. Portions are enough but not too much that you feel overwhelmed or overfull. Quality rather than quantity. We are shielding and so sat outside, it was a nice evening and even though close to the road, it was very pleasant, a real effort has been made with flowers, hanging baskets etc and the traditional black and white pub building. We also were very touched and impressed by the consideration and kindness shown by Emma, who welcomed us outside as we had rung to say we weren't comfortable going indoors, she also offered that we could come inside if the weather turned as there were no other guests in at the moment.Would highly recommend and plan to be back.
