Went there today, definitely gone down hill. Choice if you didn't want carvery as too hot :-Fish & Chips, Caeser salad which is sliced iceberg lettuce, dressing, 6 croutons and some parmesan cheese, cost £11 !!! Yes folks £11!, Keralan cauliflower and lentil curry. The waitresses although very nice were all about 16 with no experience. Has this pub changed hands, because we have had some nice meals here but won't be going again.

Lovely staff member who was happy for us to sit outside and brought everything to us including a high chair. Vegan option was good. Good selection of drinks. No vegan option for dessert though.

Absolutely loved this place! 3 of us had a 3 course meal and every part of the meal was absolutely lovely! Great table service, even in the lovely rear garden 😀 100% recommend!

I won't be returning. The lunch menu was minimal and basic. The presentation was terrible of my option and food portions not great. My burger left a burnt taste in my mouth, they were quite dry and flavourless. The drinks were made up wrong at the bar. The waitress tipped the chips off the plate as she served it. And neither she nor the Manager stopped to ask if the food was ok after serving us. It never used to be like this, so I hope it was a one off?!?😬

Just called in for a quick drink, before collecting our daughter. Very comfortable for just a drink as well as the excellent food area. Chatted with the manager. Excellent atmosphere.

Visited with two friends for a meal and catch up. Whilst the meal was lovely the service was pretty appalling!! Waitress was litterally taking our plates and glasses before we had finished. Obviousy in a rush to finish. When we asked for another drink she said we couldn't have one because they had cleaned the bar. At this stage we were not aware that the establishment closed at 9pm. Got charged for the wrong steak and then was asked if they could mop the floor around us. Needless to say a tip was not left and won't be visiting again.

Took a group of 17 people yesterday (Monday) evening and it was superb. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Service was very good and the food arrived very soon after ordering. The meals were excellent and everyone was very happy. Highly recommended and we shall return soon!

Hadn’t been for a while, so didn’t know that the carvery was off the menu for Saturdays. Had gammon instead. You would normally expect the gammon to be a minimum size of 10oz, but seamed about 6oz and was tough with not many chips. Will not be returning.

Went there for the carvery and they had stopped it. Instead we got ripped off for an over priced Sunday roast. Food was nice but not worth the money. Will not be going back until the carvery is back on. Hopefully its just because of COVID that it has stopped.
