A great place for food and friendly service. Unexpectedly stopped here (after an accident and diversion off the M5) and we had a lovely meal. They had a good and interesting menu and the price was very good too.Given it's only 1 mile from M5 Jct 7, we will now make this our stop off from the motorway again (instead of the services).Great pub.

Unfortunately we won’t be returning to the swan and do not recommend dining here.Wrong order was sent but we were told it was the same price so doesn’t matter!? No offer to speak to a manager. We were stung by a service charge of £26 despite already paying over £260 for our party. We don’t mind leaving a tip, which we did do as well! But this is ridiculous.I emailed the manager to dispute this as it is discretionary, to receive a rude and unhelpful reply of “all staff are told to mention the service charge so we won’t refund you.” No apology!I think it’s absolutely disgusting to be adding a service charge without mentioning it - especially when they can clearly see it was a pensioner paying! The food was ok, overpriced for what it was, it used to be much better there. Coffees were missing but as it was very busy we felt sorry for the young waiting staff who seemed like they’d rather be anywhere else but there.Definitely avoid, found the manager very rude!!!

We've visited the Swan over a number of years. This iteration of the place is interesting. Decor wise, very homely and welcoming. Service was reasonable but not mind-blowing. Food has moved from gastro-pub style to pub grub style. I will admit our meals were decidedly tasty and very filling, but perhaps I miss the 'specials' and the 'Swan fillet' that used to be on the menu.

Love the spaciousness and seating options indoors and out. They managed to make casual into a classic meeting place that could easily become a favorite for families, business meetings and passers through. My Eggs Royale were good and I appreciated that they were flexible on letting me tweak things to my liking: putting the Hollandaise on the side, letting me switch out the English muffin for granary slices. The poached eggs were timed to treacly yolk perfection. A bit stingy on the smoked salmon and no fresh squeezed juices on the (breakfast/brunch) menu. My oat milk flat white lacked the pretty flair of barista art flourish so common place today, but was satisfactory enough. If I had been seated where I wanted, up front by the window rather than told there was a staff meeting going on, I may have leaned into a conservative four stars here. I then asked to be seated away from other guests and ended in the back room which looked to be a well positioned, discreet spot for staff chats and meetings. Customers first, right? And, Back room business should, after all, be kept in its rightful place.

I was travelling with some of my family to Wales for a short break on the day of storm Eunice. We decided to take a break when the winds were a bit sketchy. I searched for nearby eateries and happened upon the Swan. We couldn't fault it. The service was fast, efficient and friendly and the food was fresh, well cooked and great value for money, especially the mini dessert and hot drink selection. We enjoyed our the experience so much that we returned on our way home. We experienced exactly the same on the second visit. From now on anytime we are travelling back to Wales we will definitely take time to visit the Swan.

Very little to say against it. Seems well appointed, well staffed with pleasant staff. As I was just stopping for a hot chocolate I can't speak to the food; interestingly there were no cooking odours either fresh or stale so given that they appear ready to serve(My visit 11 50 am) I'll assume an efficient kitchen set up. £2.70 may/may not be expensive for a hot drink but at least it's not M'way rip off. I guess being conveniently close to M5 J7 and Worcester the ladies will lunch, the business types will link up.

Usually great food and good service, but we felt let down on a Saturday with stingy roast portions and even stingier veg supplies to accompany. Seriously, one tiny breakfast bowl of mixed veggies to share between 3 adult plates? I got one slice of carrot! The kiddies portion of peas alone was bigger. Great cauliflower cheese, but again, one breakfast bowl between 3. Coupled with a 1.5hr wait, we were not terribly happy. Come midweek instead, it's less busy.

Lots of parking and very accessible from Worcester. The restaurant is very spacious allowing for social distancing between tables. The menu is varied and all our food was delicious. Deserts were yummy too. And if you order the mini desert platter, beware the portions are very generous...a good choice for sharing. 👍 Fabulous!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Only ordered starters and they were great. Nice bread selection and handmade butter. Chilli and garlic prawns were very tasty too! May need to go back and taste the mains next time!

Good quality food. Disappointing service in the garden though. Have to order via phone, staff don't take orders in person and had a really strange unwelcoming attitude. Everything felt a bit too much for them. Shame. Decent garden but wouldnt recommend
