Friendly helpful staff, very nice food nicely presented.Handy location.Good atmosphere decor in keeping with the building as are the rooms, which are clean and comfortable.

·

Quirky old pub/hotel with a charm of its own. Rooms a little dated but clean and well maintained. Staff extremely pleasant and a very agreeable breakfast. What's not to like?

We both really enjoyed our pub meals. They are exactly what you expect- hearty and delicious. Great drinks too and lovely staff.

We were brought a Virgin Experience voucher for Christmas so booked in for 2 days. The room was clean and tidy but the bathroom could do with a overhaul. The bath, sink and toilet were dated. The taps were hard to turn on and off in the bath. The shower could not be lowered down either. We had breakfast both mornings which was delicious. Plenty of it to.We went out at night to eat then came back for drinks. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

Really Amazing Sunday Lunch the Roast Lamb was amazing. The Pint of Coke was a little expensive for what it was but no complaints. Table was very clean and the girl running the food was very attentive. 10/10 would recommend for a Sunday lunch 😋

An excellent place to stay to explore Worcester as it is right in the centre of town , opposite the cathedral and within walking distance of the river and canal . Food was absolutely amazing , room comfortable , staff friendly and helpful . Noise from the street at night , but obviously not the hotels fault and only what you’d expect in the middle of town . Thank you xx

I like this old pub at the end of historic Friar Street. A nice place to meet up in when in the town centre and the food looks really good although not eaten there as yet, but definitely will!

·

Inexpensive accommodation, friendly staff and good breakfast. Nicely situated near the Cathedral and city centre. Also a short walk from Foregate Train Stn. Decor a little tired in the rooms but general cleanliness was good.

Have been here for drinks many times so thought would try the restaurant...Friday night 8th April. We arrived at 8pm and were taken to the restaurant. There were only two others in there so this should have been a warning. We ordered the food and were served in a timely manner. There were 5 of us all had different mains and shared a few starters. The starters were fine. That is as good as it got. There were issues with all the mains, soggy chips, soggy batter etc etc. Towards the end of the mains we noticed the staff were putting on their coats ready to go. Apart from 1. Eventually the plates were cleared and the one staff member disappeared, no mention of desserts coffee etc...obviously wanted to go home. We had to shout for the bill which eventually came and were abruptly told to go and take it to the bar...which we did. We waited for a few mins and no one came..we walked round the bar to find the two bar staff sitting having a chat. We paid and left. We will not eat there again and will have second thoughts about even having a drink..there arebetter places to go in Worcester

The food here is lovely the service is wonderful the staff are very friendly and professional.I left a bag behind at breakfast time, in such a hurry to get to work. In the bag was a gift from my wife that I take everywhere with me, upon returning I enquired about the bag with no luck the evening staff could not find it. I was pretty upset with myself for losing it and headed to my room. Only to find it had been placed back in my room. Thank you.
