A group of us went to the Wednesday carvery. Food was gorgeous and the staff so friendly and helpful. Will definitely be returning

Excellent ale and home made beef and ale pie with thrice cooked chips. Perfectly seasoned with home made gravy and a light pastry top. Service is extremely friendly and efficient.

Rude staff. The carvery itself was lovely and very tasty. however, the older women who served us were so miserable and unwelcoming. The lady who we presumed was the manager was really rude in particular and very passive aggressive in the way she spoke to customers. The younger staff members were very friendly and prompt with their service.

Went as part of an organised trip with a coach company on Mothering Sunday. Most of the group got seated leaving a few without tables/seats.Found the Manageress stressed to say the least, trying to evict a family from their table to get it cleared for us. She was very rude , loud and unprofessional.Asking us to stand at the bar , get some drinks and wait. Yes if course I would with ladies in their late 80.s walking sticks bags coats etc, no sorry that should not of been suggested. Was even told to go back on the coach if not happy. But saying that the meal was excellentWould I go back!! Not while she's there

Awesome experience, unplanned Sunday roast dinner, called to book a table but came in earlier than thought, however wasn't a problem as we were greeted by the owner and table was available despite us being early (45 minutes before planned arrival). Extremely pleasant place, warm welcoming and customer caring team. Food was great, tasty and portions are generous and reasonably priced. We had been well looked after, one not to be missed. Looking forward to our next visit, perhaps not on a Sunday as we are keen to try the other dishes served. Most recommended.

This is one of the best pub resteraunts in Worcestershire. This is my first visit since lock down. The staff are much the same, our waitress was brilliant that's why they are 5 star.

The pub it's self has a lovely layout and atmosphere. It seems to get really busy. The carvery was hot and enough choice. There were a few things that could be improved on in my opinion. Firstly the roasties are one of the jewels on a roast, don't use frozen !! Why oh why ??!!The beef was so over cooked my husband couldn't chew it, way too dry.My turkey and pork were beautiful and well cooked. The cauliflower cheese needed longer in oven, it's rock hard ! Having said that the leeks in that sauce were beautiful!Would I return ? Never say never.

Came here for lunch as we were going to Worcester. We were greeted very warmly by the owner who was extremely pleasant and very welcoming. It was very quiet as it was a Thursday. We ordered our drinks which were great 3 beers, 2 lemonades and a plain glass of water. The food was excellent, the fresh cranberry and turkey pie was fabulous, really hot and tasty, good beef lasagne and all the fish dishes were great. The owner came and spoke to us and there was a good rapport going on. We will certainly come back here. It is a lovely country pub well worth a visit.
