Chang Thai River in Wyre Forest

Absolutely beautiful food . We have eaten here a couple of times and loved our food. The service is fantastic, would recommend this restaurant...a must try.

First and last time we will be visiting here!Food was great.Staff were slow, clumsy and uncaring. We had to chase them up for a drink and to order food. Even had to beg for the bill.No reason or apology for the service.

A nice change from Indian or Chinese. Beautiful food, but not a cheap night out. The place is licensed so you can't take your own drink, but overall, worth a visit if like Thai food and you're in the area....and you never know, you may be lucky and see the odd local celebrity partaking !!! ;-) ;-)

We went to the Chang Thai for the first time and the last time last night. To start with the positives- the food was really delicious and authentic. Unfortunately the table service was very slow and the staff were rushed / unfriendly and unprofessional to the point of being rude! They were obviously understaffed but did not offer an apology or explanation for why it took nearly an hour to get our starter and more than 2 hours to get our main course. We were giving our order to the unfriendly waitress when she suddenly just walked off to attend to something else and when she came back she offered no explanation or apology as to walking away mid order. We waited for more than half an hour to get a drink or even order. We got the wrong drinks order and then the bottle of wine was put on the table and not even opened or poured into our glasses. There was no thank you or goodbye when leaving and they were just happy to get our money and treat us like a cash machine. Honestly it was really the worst customer service I've ever experienced.

Our first visit but certainly not our last. Beautiful food. Friendly, polite staff. Definitely a must, 5 star *****.

Amazing food, great service - was understanding of my husbands nut allergy which was very reassuring - I had the veggie starter and vegetable pad Thai extra spicy - delicious food

Possibly the worst Thai I've had in the UK. Not sure about you but I'm not a fan of hard chicken or rubber squid?The prawns were editible so one star for that and carrots we shaped like flowers so another star for that.The young staff seemed nice also.

The typical thai restaurant we go to is closing down so we decided to give this one a go. It's a bit pricier than our d place bit let me tell you... well worth a few extra quid. The food was lovely and the meal was ready quickly for take out. I had the green curry with shrimp (praens) and my husband had the weeping tiger (steak and chips). Both were well seasoned, be were the curry is a bit hot even on mild. Would HIGHLY recommend a visit. Will post more pictures as we have more visit.
