Hogarths Stone Manor in Wyre Forest

I and some friends booked for lunch. I asked if dogs were allowed. They are allowed in the bar, not the dining room that was fine.We had drinks in the diners bar awaiting our table. The head waiter informed us that they did not have a table. He told us that he would set a table in a small side room. Which he duly did. We were shown to a very small coffee table, at which a number of low lounge chairs were placed. It was laid up for lunch. We would have had to take it in turns to eat, there was no way could we have all bent down together to eat. After a short space of time, the staff found a dining table. We asked for dining chairs, and were told ( yes you've guessed sorry we do not have any chairs.) The staff rushed around collecting cushions. This farce was pure John Cleese.I would like to be able to say that the food made up for it. Unfortunately not.The pluses : The grounds are very pleasant. It would be very pleasant to have afternoon tea in the garden, weather permitting The hotel is beautifully decorated and furnished. The staff are very pleasant.

We had a gorgeous afternoon cream tea here with the wedding girls, we had the most brilliant time. The place is set in fantastic gardens. A very nice afternoon was had by all.

Service was attentive. Environment was lovely. Reason for 4 stars is the way they made us feel before the event (wedding) with pushy phone calls about booking confirmation and trying to sell us earlier check-in. Considering overall size of the event we found this very unwelcoming.

Extremely good food, you definitely get what you pay for here. The most polite and capable staff and, from our experience the best chefs for some distance. Not to he confused with lesser establishments. Excellent parking and easy access for all.

A lovely hotel, used as a stop over for one night whilst travelling but a very pleasant experience, lovely rooms and a great breakfast. Visited on two occasions, will be back later this year. Perfect. Definitely recommend 👌

Stayed on business, but I'd love to come back for pleasure. The room was beautifully appointed and clean. Very comfortable bed and pillows. I was very impressed with the staff, nothing was too much trouble and all done with a smile.

I was so impressed by the standard of F&B, my meal was really topstar. The accommodation was excellent too, a big comfortable bed, extremely clean, large bathroom, plenty of storage and nice little amenities such as ginger and chocolate cookies.I was very pleasantly surprised by Hogarth's Stone Manor Hotel.

First time visit and I wasn't disappointed - beautiful place. Popped in for lunch in the bar as it was more casual for daytime. The bar looks out onto gorgeous landscaped gardens. Equally, the restaurant adjacent to the bar looks really lovely, with beautiful decor. Excellent service provided by the friendly, attentive staff. I'm looking forward to going back when the weather improves as it'll be a huge treat to sit outside on the terrace.

Excellent place to stay. The accommodation was lovely, very clean and nicely decorated/furnished. The bed was incredibly comfy. The dining area was nicely furnished and the English breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

We went to Stone Manor yesterday for my fiance's 50th birthday. I couldn't fault anything from checking in to checking out. The staff were friendly, polite and efficient and made his special day truly special and memorable. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and will definitely be going back.
