You get exactly what you pay for (in the best way possible)!Literally can't fault this place. Crispy fish batter, great portion sizes for the price, the cod and chips were so tasty.Been here a few times with my husband and it literally takes us 50 mins to get there but it's so worth the trip 😂 we'll be headed there this evening!

I have just bought a steak pie from Our Plaices, Hagley. I just can’t find words to say how awful it was. The pastry was so hard, (maybe either re heated or kept warm for too long), just not edible! The filling was dry and tasted terrible. At a cost of £4.50 when a Puka Pie is about £2.50, you are entitled to expect something special. Probably the worst food I have ever had from any takeaway! Avoid at all costs.

I have always recommended you to friends and family but have recently had a few friends saying the quality is not good enough. Admittedly I only come once a week but they say only youngsters are in charge. Knowing the difficulty you had to get a fish n chip shop in Hagley perhaps you need to look into this.

Went in today for a doner and chips but when I opened the box there was only doner and no chips. Highly disappointing considering the steep price tag and near half n hour wait.

This looks like a great place with an impressive reburb, which gives the impression of a modern and socially aware establishment but I have since discovered that unfortunately there food is cooked in beef fat, not ideal for a vegetarian. I feel somewhat deceived. Gutted.

Had a meal this evening, ordered online for click and collect... very impressed, food was very nice and all of our meals were ready on time as requested. Thank you, your service was appreciated and we may be back for more in the future,

Apparently this is your 'large' chips at £3.60 - absolute joke, ripping the people of Hagley off, this isn't the first time this has happened either but it sure will be the last 👋🏼

Avoid - better chip shops available - Terrible fish and chips - we ordered gluten free - special order - waited extra time for the order to be cooked - even though we pre ordered and were collecting - when the order was opened the - fish was like thin horrible baked hard with see through batter - no taste at all and considering the cost was unacceptable as most of it went in the bin as un edible food as cooked far too long and the fish was dry and thin - total waste of money - and not cheap at all !It is supposed to be a treat going out for me, but just wasted my money, so would not recommend especially if you are Gluten free,

Great little, no nonsense, old fashioned fish and chip shop. Good quality and generous portion. I had the small cod, chips and side(mushy peas) in box, which cost £6.70. The size was as much as I could manage and there was no waste. Not the fastest service and the staff could've been more cheerful, but hey, we all have days like that - not for me to judge. Anyway, I give it 5 stars because it was tasty(nice quality cod), very hot, well presented and the premises were very clean and tidy.

Wow the pricing is a bit high But dayyyum the food is banging Like honestly top fresh food great clean place very nice worth a look Staff are friendly and helpful
