In fairness the food was lovely, but the atmosphere wasn't great. And the service didn't come with a smile especially when we asked about the 35 min wait with no warning. And no-one bothered to ask how the food was. The manager definitely needs some customer service training.

The word shambles would be far to nice for this placeWhen ordering food was told that a little wait should be expected. Had a look around and counted 9 customers so thought it can't be that bad.1 hour 10 mins later and only witnessed 4 plates leave the kitchen I asked how long until the 2 breakfasts I ordered would arrive. Was told around 15 mins. At that stage I asked for a refund and had to settle for a greggs from next doorAppauling customer service and absolutely no apology offered

Shame Passports or LFT are being introduced from 1am till 3am on a weekend. We all know that it's totally safe during the day. Complete hipocrisy. No longer weekly support to this pub with our group.

Very sad to find out that they are supporting vax passport's... had a weekly meet here will be going elsewhere now support a buisness that doesn't support this stupidness.

Excellent pub good food resonably priced & for the time of day a good turnout. Gods waiting room 2 dropped off their perch whilst iwas there nobody injured.

It’s a pretty cheap place and you get what you pay for I guess. The decor is drab and the building needs some tlc. I ordered a vegetarian breakfast which was “alright”….hash browns, sausage and eggs were nice. The mushrooms however were burned black on the bottom and tasted like it too. The beans were very low quality and just about warm; I wouldn’t eat breakfast here again… sorry.Nice staff though and with a bit more attention to detail it would be a nice place to visit.

Went there with my daughter for breakfast. Coke tasted cheap and nasty didn't even taste like coke so got her a tea which was just as vile. I had beans and egg on toast which was awful. The beans must be cheap 10p beans they tasted fizzy and like vinegar so had to send it back. My daughter had the panini which was passable. Definitely won't be returning. Vile 🤢

Lovely staff, prices decent, food is lovely & plenty of choice! When I visited when it was open, it was so clean and every member of staff was following the guidelines and made sure everyone was staying safe :)).

I visited Pennies October 2020 and was extremely impressed with how measures were in place for our own safety. Quickly seated and table service by professional friendly staff. The food was great and up until the end of December enjoyed regular visits. I shall look forward to Pennies reopening. Food, drink and karaoke is just what is needed!
