Tappeto Lounge in Wyre Forest

The staff here are friendly; the decor is quirky. There is a good selection of tapas and the ordering via app is really easy. The food was tasty but the cocktails were a little weak and were heavy on the ice. However, all in all, a good spot.

Staff super friendly and food came really quickly and WOW it all tasted amazing I have to say I was tempted to order even more but my stomach was so full! The place inside is beautiful and quirky from the paintings to the different lampshades and furniture, really chilled out vibe great place!

This is the fourth time we have visited in the last few weeks each time saying never again ! Service is absolutely shocking people stood waiting to be seated and staff ignoring them we stood at the bar for a good 10 minutes while staff had a chit chat between themselves totally ignoring us do this time it definitely is NEVER again! Rude ignorant staff a lot of training in customer service required this was between 3 and 4 in the afternoon maybe the evening staff get it more together !

I don’t like giving bad reviews but they are necessary sometimes. first of all had to wait a little bit too long ,second the food was not pleasant it was very greasy and just warmBut more worrying we saw one of the staff spill something on the floor by the bar and then another staff member used the cloth that they were wiping the cutlery with to wipe up the floor and then he just put it back on the counter ,when we pointed this out to him he just brushed it off and carried on working ,not good practice

Used to love going here but you can tell the standards of the food served has dramatically dropped! Perhaps due to staffing issues. The young lady of the floor (think her name was Elizabeth) was also under immense pressure being called back and forth to take drinks, food, and cleared tables. Spent our whole service feeling sorry for her as all we could hear was her name being called. Food was sad, sausages and bacon were burnt, and didn’t feel like an enjoyable meal out at all.

Been to this place, twice in the past, has been good both times, however, this time it was a different experience. The pancakes were rock hard after eating the first one and my friends milk shake had a mysterious black line around it, it wasn’t on the outside of the glass.

Been in here a few times now, never had any trouble getting a table or waiting for food, but it does get busy. Food has always been nice, Hubby enjoys the big breakfast, I try something different every time we come in - today was the Bombay Sweet Potato & Lentil Curry - the photo doesn’t do it justice as I had already started eating it before I took the photo, sorry! It was lovely in flavour, but could have been a bit warmer! You order food via an app, nice and easy! Nice menu, bit of everything to choose from - breakfast items, sandwiches, burgers, salads, tapas even! Good drinks menu as well. Worth a visit, seating outside as well.

Really nice venue. Relaxed dining or just pop in for a beer or cocktail. Food is always fab and you never feel under pressure to hurry along. Only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is we have been here many times and once you have your food if you ask for sauces it can get lost but a great venue

Updating this review for balance after our last poor experience here….We went back today for a birthday breakfast and our experience couldn’t have been more different.Staff were fabulous, the vibe was much more chilled and the guy in charge (different one from the previous time) was pleasant, happy and treated his colleagues and customers with warmth and style…We both recognised the guy in charge from back before covid times and although we have never got his name, it was great to see him again and evidence the change under his leadership…Tappeto was always our go to place for a lazy breakfast and today was absolutely bang on.Good food, great service and back to being on our list of favouritesWelcome back Tappeto, you have been missed :)

It’s a nice spot for brunch and dinner along the river ! Very pleasant staff, they kept on apologising for the delay as they were short of staff that day but we didn’t have to wait at all! The menu offers a wide variety of options including a lot of desserts, cocktails and milkshakes ! We only had breakfast there and it’s reasonably priced with decent portion. The hash brown was very soft inside and crunchy outside ! The fritters were delicious too! Unfortunately the chefs over cooked our poached eggs but they happily remade them for us after. The filter coffee that comes with the breakfast doesn’t taste very nice…. Overall it was a pleasant experience!
