Brilliant as ever! Thick cut beef in a tasty cob. Loads of fresh salad. Lovely friendly helpful staff to serve and clean up after you.

Wasn't what it was hyped up to be. A chunk of cheese in a measly buttered cob with a side of salad from a barmaid who couldn't bother to smile at jokes on St Patrick's Day. Won't be going back. Wouldn't recommend. Guinness wasn't the worst, but certainly no effort applied.

Busy pub.. First time visit. Obviously doing things well as it was full and the cobs looked magnificent. Quality meats and well presented. Nice and varied range of drinks available. Sadly the parking is an issue

Lovely village pub, with possibly the finest cobs (beef, cheese or ham) in the known world, served with copious salad. Gets busy of a lunchtime, and with good reason! Not the largest selection of ales but what there is is well kept and very quaffable. Well worth a visit, but remember they don't do cards - cash only.

Excellent service and brilliant food. Went for the cheese and onion Cob while friend had the beef. Both filling and tasted excellent. Would definitely recommend and call in quite a few times.

Fabulous small country village pub. Great selection of ales and ciders. People travel from miles for the cobs served with huge amounts of fresh salad. The beef and ham are outstanding quality. You'll never have a cob and a pint like this anywhere else.
