Just had a Sunday lunch for 7 people and customer service was very poor.Didn’t have 2 of the drinks we asked for, alternative was flat but staff insisted it was just because it was diet!! Waited for 45 minutes for our puddings. When I asked for the bill, I was asked what we had ordered and then I had to chase the bill again 20 minutes later…..The food was actually nice but would definitely not be returning here again

A last minute stop here and even though they were fully booked the managed to squeeze us in. They could of not been more accommodating even doing nuggets when they don't normally do them on a Sunday for our little daughter. As for the food one of the best carvery we have had for a long time. Good old fashioned customer service go a long way and we will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone.

Everything perfect!! Service, food, price, quality and hospitality. I've never given a review before, but the fox has exceeded any carvery I've been to. Keep it up, you deserve queues out the door!

Lunchtime carvery exceptional. Really good fresh food cooked to perfection. Starters, main course and sweet. Choice of 3 meats and numerous vegetables. Staff very polite, covid measures in place, surroundings nice and clean. Will be visiting again.

A very nice experience, lovely staff and an excellent value 3 course meal with an option of a Carvery when your booking is in the Week.

Had a wonderful Christmas / birthday meal here. Food was excellent, as was the beer. Standard cost not expensive, not cheap either. Staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Really good atmosphere in the place. Chef had a good sense of humour. Plenty of free parking. Look forward to going again.

Friendly staff. Nice pub. Carvery fairly ordinary but nothing wrong with it . The roast potatoes were nice however. Fairly expensive for a midweek carvery . Half a pint of draught diet coke and carvery was ÂŁ14.75. My usual carvery midweek is a total of ÂŁ11.64 for a 2 course - carvery and dessert ( ÂŁ9.99) plus a diet coke ÂŁ1.65 and is better all round - except for the roast potatoes !

The three stars here are purely for the fantastic carvery. Fantastic food and an incredible selection of meats.Unfortunately it lost two stars as the service was very hit and miss. Also, considering we’re still in a pandemic, you are squashed in with so many other tables. Some in our party are particularly vulnerable to the disease, so it was a tad disappointing.Car park spacious, nice setting.

fantastic festive 3 course Friday meal. Staff looked after us and made sure we got served and well taken care of. Good selection of meat and veg on the carvery with the happy chef dishing out good portions. Merry Christmas
