I just loved visiting this pub & restaurant. The food was perfect and the drink (IPA) was excellent. To top it all, a group of Morris dancers performed brilliantly for ages, outside.A wonderful night with two good friends.

We have enjoyed a nice lunch in their garden with our pup on Sunday. I had a pizza (they make them right there in front of you) and others in my party had Sunday roast - all good was really lovely. Food came quick and staff was very attentive even though it was quite busy. We were only in Bewdley for the weekend but would definitely visit again if we are there!!

An excellent experience today. We find eating out quite complicated due to needing to accommmodate a wheelchair, dog and dietary requirements. The whole team at the Mug House was exceptionally welcoming, went out of their way to help and even tweaked the menu to suit. Outstanding service and the food was lovely too!

Room, was very clean. Bed was so comfortable, that couldn't help falling asleep early. We had, the Meat and cheese sharing platter, for lunch, which was huge for the price, and tasted just as good.Staff, where really attentive, friendly and polite, even though they, where all busy. Will be visiting again

We are on a road trip in our motorhome from Northern Ireland, we were visiting family in Bewdley. As we were out and about spending a beautiful day visiting the town we popped in for some food. The food was absolutely delicious, the staff were outstanding they couldn't do enough for you. The owner who's name we didn't get treated us like royalty, he said he was adopted at the age of 25, some of our party fell for it hook line and sinker. We will definitely be back again when we come back to visit.

Just stopped for a drink. Wine and taste local ale all good, ordered portion of chips between 3 of us. Sat outside by the river . Perfect. Good service, nice place

Really disappointed with the food. Outdoor area on the river fantastic and drinks were good. Food let it down massively. Had high hopes but sorely disappointed. My husband had feather beef with garlic mash. Unfortunately it tasted and looked microwaved and no garlic flavour in the mash. I had liver (overcooked) with scallion mash and again no scallions. Paid good money for sub standard food. Sure there is better places to eat in this gorgeous town

Disappointed. I had a burger. 2 patties so overcooked they were tough. The bacon was so overdone it was like chewing shoe leather. The desert was toffee pudding cheesecake. Straight out of the freezer and about 6cm circle. Very expensive for the items I had.Environment was noisy in the restaurant with a bland wooden table and a pot of cutlery and a box of sauces. No finesse for the high prices.I'm being generous with 3 stars.

Couldn't fault a thing. Great en suite room with fridge stocked with bottled water and fresh milk.Restaurant and bar was great with a good selection of quality food. Complimentary breakfast was amazing, huge sausages on my full English with flowing coffee and toast...The location is spot on, really close to the town high St.The only downside to our stay was that the flood barriers were up due to the height of the river which no one can do anything about...I can only imagine how beautiful this place is in the summer when you can have a table on the riverbank outside the front of the restaurant. Thanks for a great stay!We have booked to go back.

My favourite place to eat in Bewdley and surrounding area. The staff are always more than helpful and very friendly. There are mixed reviews regarding the owner Hossey on here but from my experience, he has always been very welcoming, courteous and just generally a good host. The atmosphere is fantastic and you can smell the pizza oven/BBQ from the car park behind which usually is what entices me and my girlfriend to spontaneously pop in. I look forward to seeing you all again soon.
