I've just been tonight for my mother's day meal. My son Carl and his wife Julie and jenson treated me. The food was absolutely delicious, I really couldn't fault it. I had belly pork with all the trimmings, wow absolutely beautiful. The soup to start was so nice andcrumble with custard was do nice. Thank you for a wonderful meal and atmosphere. Staff were lovely polite and quick, nothing to much trouble x

We decided to enjoy the start of summer sun in the beer garden today. Beautiful views all around nice friendly atmosphere and a great play area for the kids. Was only popping in for one drink but loved it so much we decided to have food. Food was delicious couldn’t fault it and the service we received from all of the staff was brilliant. Loved the homely atmosphere inside with comfortable seating areas and nice log fires for winter. Definitely recommend my new favourite pub looking forward to going back again and again. Thankyou.

My husband booked the back room for my 30th birthday party. The room itself was wonderful: light, well-decorated and plenty of room for a large gathering. The food was prepared and presented brilliantly (see pics!). Everything was fresh and delicious, particularly the scotch eggs! Everyone had a great time. Thank you to all the staff for making my birthday special!

Absolutely stunning. I live down the road and had never been here but the food completely took me by surprise. Huge portion size and very good quality food, very happy with my experience overall.

A friendly pub with a good range of beers and a very interesting menu all at very reasonable prices. The Ploughman's Platter was very tasty and generous proportion. Will certainly make a return visit.

Under new management. Beautiful food. Tapas starters, sharing platter, gammon, egg, chips and peas and lasagne and salad.

Just popped in for tea . Had belly pork which was delicious this is our 4th time now in a month and every time it’s tops . Staff are polite and looked after us perfectly .we will be returning for sure.

Stopped by with my 2 collie dogs whilst walking. Very warm welcome and chat with staff. Enjoyed a great pint and steak sandwich. Just what was needed! Thank you!

Went here for a meal, it was delicious, the main was cooked and presented beautifully and the desert was fabulous!The waitress was lovely and very welcoming.We will definetley be going back soon, hopefully in warmer weather to enjoy the garden!100% recommend a visit to everyone.
