Visited last night (Thursday 23rd June). The 5 of us had the 3 course option for £13.Great choice of starters ,I had the hot n spicey wings, 2 had chicken skewers, 1 had baked brie and the other had pork bites. All 5 of us had the carvery, the 3 meats on offer were Beef, Turkey and Pork. The meat was cooked to perfection on the AGA.next up the NUTCRACKER deserts.I chose the the key lime cheesecake with lemon meringue icecream. 2 had just ice cream and the other 2 had waffles. Overall a great night of feasting was had by all. Not been for a few years but will definitely return again in the not too distant future.

We been here a few times now, both during the week and at weekends- pre-booking is advised no matter when as it does get very busy. The Sunday lunch here is amazing, the meat is Aga cooked and there is usually 4 or 5 different types to pick from, a good choice of potatoes and veg, and of course Yorkshire puddings and the rest. You can have as little or as much as you can get in your plate. Then if you have room there is a good selection of puddings, cakes and ice creams. We don’t go anywhere else for Sunday lunch now, why bother cooking yourself when you can have this! Lots of seating, a good bar and lovely decor inside. Staff are friendly and helpful. Order and pay at the till and take your receipt when you go get your food.

Disappointing visit. Very confusing ordering system meant one main was brought out before we were told we could go and get carvery even after questioning it. Then very unfortunately string was found in the meat from carvery. Staff were informed and were apologetic however nothing was offered as a good will gesture. Also slightly off putting hearing members of staff disrespecting others members of staff while we were eating. Husband's comments were the staff seemed disinterested and grumpy. However the food itself was pleasant enough. We probably wouldn't return 😕

Went for family lunch. We all had the two course Carvery. Excellent selection. Everything cooked well. Would go again. Staff very helpful when informed my husband had Parkinson's they set a table for all seven of us near the entrance. Allowed our son to get his dad's food first and go back to select his later.

Absolutely fantastic meal every time we come here.Fantastic value 3 courses for £12 or upgrade to a porterhouse steak or T Bone steak 3 courses for £20.Good selection on the menu to choose from and the carvery is absolutely delicious 😋.Drinks are a bit pricey but some good ales being sold here.

Three of my friends and I met up at the Plough for their special offer - 3 courses for £10. I was delicious & I don't know how they do it for the money! We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I had Pate, the Carvery & a Fruit Crumble & Custard. The meat was so tender & cooked beautifully (I had both Beef & Turkey) the selection of vegetables was wonderful, including both red & green cabbage. The carrots were firm as the peas were nice & juicy. Well done to all - great choice available on ALL courses.

Everything was lovely here. 5*. The pub was lovely. A warm welcome from staff can't fault the staff at all. They was very pleasant. Carvery was beautiful. Everything was cooked perfectly. Parsnips was beautiful cooked. My only thing was i thought there would be more veg to choose from but that's me probably being greedy

The staff are very well trained. Customer service is exemplary. This pub offers a carvery based menu however the vegan options are first rate too.The menu offer of three courses for £12 represents great value. The young man working on the carvery was particularly careful to ensure that customer requirements were in order. The bar is well stocked with beer, cider, lager, wine, spirits and soft drinks. The car park is well maintained. It needs to be as the pub in busy due to the excellent value that it represents. We worth a visit for a good value carvery, excellent service and a relaxing environment.

Wow. Not only is the pub finished to a really high standard in beautiful surroundings, but the food was excellently cooked and well presented. Seeing it was 3 courses for £10 Mon-Sat I expected a limited menu, but I was so wrong. And you can mix n match from the children's menu for fussy eaters. Mark (owner/manager) saw my wife spill my sons drink whilst moving the table slightly and insisted on replacing it freely so we could carry on enjoying our meal. Excellent table service with very friendly staff made it a real treat.
