Random 2-pinter visit with daughter's boyfriend's family. Smart, friendly, covid-safe and the best pint of Guinness I have had for a long while. Good job.

We have eaten here a few times now and the food is always excellent, good English fare well cooked and delicious in nice surroundings. The staff are very pleasant and attentive albeit thin on the ground and somewhat overworked. All in all a lovely place to eat.

Wow, what a Sunday lunch I've had today.Popped in on an invididual cycle ride and the place was full.After being squeezed in at the bar i witnessed the food arriving at various tables and what i saw determined my choice .The sirloin of beef i had was perfect(medium rare) and i didn't realise that I could order it cooked to my personal satisfaction..Delightful front of staff and enjoyed a drink and great conversation with the chef and his wife .This place is Busy. You will need to book in advance as its reputation precedes it .Peter.

Lovely little pub had a really nice meal with my girlfriend and her sister. Will definitely go back staff friendly and good price's highly recommended.

Nicely kept premises, good vibe inside and good outside tables too. In a lovely countryside setting. Beer excellent, service good and friendly. Food ok too and all six meals arrived together and hot. Toilets clean. Plenty of outdoor space for kids to run around. My first visit but I'll be going again.

Varied seasonal menu, excellently cooked. Something for everyone. We had Sunday and oast with lots of veg, chicken curry and sea bass, delicious home made pate, garlic mushrooms, chocolate fudge cake. . Large outside eating area on two levels, large car park. Recommend without hesitation. Be great for a BBQ party. Fully licenced.

Really accommodating of our party of 13. Happily put up a roast for a takeaway for a member who could not make it on the day. Lovely food and great service. Plenty of space and a nice little play area for children. Roast dinner was tasty and plentiful. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely pub with a calm atmosphere. Plenty of outdoor tables with a massive adventure play and open field with goals for the kids to have their own time... foods great. There is an outdoor bar but last twice I've been its sunny so must be on selected summer days. Nearly always busy.
