First time ordering from here, what can I say? The food was that bland and tasteless I thought I had Covid. The chicken was clearly microwaved and hadn't even touched the tandoori, the masal sauce was vile, the mango chutney looked like dog sick. My partners lamb rogan josh looked like a microwave meal, no garlic on the garlic and coriander nann. What a waste of my money this so called Indian was, binned it all after 4 spoonfuls. Wouldn't feed this food to my dog -1 ⭐

Ordered a set meal 3 times in few months and everything was really tasty. Only once the side aloo was a bit salty. I also loved that the take away came in a recycled carboard box and no plastic containers at all. Eco-friendly bonus. Will use it again

First time I’ve ordered from here and NEVER again, the chicken was like rubber and the korma was very watery. I had this food less then 30 minutes ago and I’m feeling ill.

Kormas were like soup - The amount of water that came out was appalling. It came cold as well as had items missing and to top it off, the mint sauce had been crushed so it was over everything.Will not be returning. Steer clear.

Similar experience to Charles. Ordered here regularly and loved the meals.Due to lock down we haven't ordered for a while so last night thought it was time to order again. Will not be going back.We ordered the same meal we always had, chicken jalfrezi, two pilau rice, my wife has a half portion of tikka masala, and we have a garlic naan.Firstly we were queried about the location of our address, then postcode and phone number when they had delivered many times. We were then told price was £19.50. It used to be just under 13 quid, but we didn't question it, we were looking forward to it.It arrived bout hour later, driver asked for 20 pound save arguing about 50p change I let it go.Tikka had 4 small pieces of chicken in, and as for the jalfrezi I have had better from tescos freezers.We used to get complimentary poppadoms and dip too but no sign of those.In a nutshell, price increase of 7 pound, food not worth the price, used to knock couple of pound off half portion, not now, definitely will NOT be going back.

Ordered here for the first time, will definitely be the last! Tried Zafran as a birthday treat for my husband as our regular take away was closed. Unfortunately the only nice part of the meal was the rice. Everything was extremely bland, no flavour whatsoever and very watery sauces. In fact my dish (Lamb Rogan) was like eating rubber in a pasta sauce. Our children said "it's naff" and "don't go there again mom". Really disappointed, and will avoid in the future.

Been ordering from here for years was always great. Never again though! I asked for one dish hotter and a boiled egg with another as always. Order accepted then delivery guy asked me for 4 quid extra due to all the additions. I refused thinking he was trying it on. He called Zafran who said they would let it go this time. So I phoned and was told they are new owners. I said how can you justify 4 quid for an egg? She said it is not about the egg just cos we are busy and people ask us for things. Well don't accept the order if so busy. Egg is not an option to pay extra and never been a problem in years. To top it all the spicier dish was inedible. I always go for Vindaloo etc but I think they just put 3 tablespoons of chilli powder in for my audacity. And my wife's dish was watery and tasteless so well done you just lost a regular. I don't normally leave reviews but this really belled me off.

Stayed at my son's house in Kidderminster, we had a home delivery. I must say I was a bit unsure at first as the prices are £££"s cheaper than back in Birmingham. Once the food arrived I was pleasantly surprised how tasty & authentic it was. Absolutely great food & at an unbelievable price. Definitely will order again, & definitely recommend.
