Rang and booked there and then from the car park. Nice polite staff, chatty too. Food was hot and lots of choices. Would defgo for the Sunday buffet again and fair price too.

Ordered food for delivery food missing. Rung restaurant said unless you come get missing food there nothing we can do. Won’t order again. Atrocious service. Also Uber driver was delivering to wrong address. We had to ring him and go outside to find him.

I visited the Ali Raj a few years ago and the food was impeccable. I went there a few weeks ago and to be polite the food and service was absolutely awful. Our order was taken by the owner who joked constantly, lacked professionalism, politeness and common courtesy for lack of a better word! The restaurant floor was strewn with bits of food and dirty serviettes. The food was tasteless and obviously watered down... overall a very disappointing experience! I didn't complain or ask for a refund as I'm very aware of the financial impact the last 18 months have had on small businesses. My advice to the owner is take a leaf out of the previous owners book... I enjoyed many a fantastic meal there in the past and management were always polite and professional at all times.

Lovely food, attentive staff. We met up with family members at 6pm and the restaurant was already busy. Always a good sign! Tucked away up a side street with a decent sized car park. I thoroughly enjoyed a king prawn dupiaza, accompanied by a garlic naan bread, (one of the best I've had in a long time), and a saag paneer, absolutely delicious and not steeped in ghee. We will definitely visit again.

Went here on a Sunday as they were open and nearby. We didn't expect to have such a wonderful time!! Amazing food, fabulous staff, great atmosphere. It's such a gem of a place I'd definitely recommend. Great for all ages during the day but I could see it being really swanky in the evenings. Also onions bhajis were gluten free which was a bonus. Decent spread of vegetarian dishes too.

We've been customers for years. The last two takeaways have been disappointing. The one we had over the weekend was not great. Stale chips which I'm sure they must have known were stale when they packed them. They were tepid, rubbery and starchy. The lamb in my curry was mostly fat and very chewy. Keema nans were stuffed into a bag and came out in tatters. Overall a disappointment. I feel like they took the mickey out of us with the food they gave us - almost like they took it from the Sunday buffet which had been sitting there for hours. When you pay close to £50 for a takeaway, you would expect a little respect from the business.

Incredible diverse menu. Second visit in three days. Amazing food and very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.
