The food was excellent, and the service friendly and efficient. The decor is charming, and the atmosphere relaxed. It was unfortunate therefore that the toilets were not to a good standard; just about clean enough but no toilet paper until we asked for it and nothing to dry hands on.

Called in for lunch today, whilst passing through. We had a lovely lunch. Catered for my gluten intolerance so very well too. Staff very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend this smashing eaterie. Will definitely call again when in the area.

Love Arthur's!!! Cosy atmosphere, excellent food, and lovely friendly staff who are attentive, even the chef checked on us! Did I mention excellent food? Absolutely delicious! And dogs are welcome. What more could you want!

Visited laurghne as a one off on Sunday afternoon.walked past shops and booked a table with a little restaurant. Walked further on down and saw Arthur's little bistro which looked cleaner and didn't have dogs behind counter. So booked table for 12.30. Pm. We had s little table for two and ordered steak sandwich cup of tea and pepsi. Tea came with t bag in the cup rather than a little tea pot ? And really can't go wrong with a can of pepsi. Meal looked good when delivered but steak was undercooked and not one piece was edible. Must have been scrag ends as we had to spit beef into paper hanky as not one piece able to chew. Left sandwich on plate and when the young waitress came over and said everything ok ? We told her it was inedible. At that point she said I'm sorry and took our plates and went back and told management the waiter came back and said he wouldn't charge us for meal. But did charge us for drinks. Won't be back need some older heads here to run properly. If your going to message back please be nice as I've seen your past message returns and not nice. Customers always right remember management customers always right and this time we definitely were. Won't be back.could be little gold mine if run well. But not now . Disappointed as waited half hour outside in cold windy weather. Sorry didn't stick with first little restaurant.

Ate here twice today whilst in Wales first breakfast full English all round tasty quality ingredients and not greasy really accomodating of my 6 year old.Booked dinner happens to be valentine's kids had pizzas they're fresh fully loaded with thin bases really good. My wife and I had scallops to start perfectly cooked with samphire and Welsh rarebit sauce. Mains portions were good and the seabass and sirloin were perfectly cooked. A well deserved 5 stars check it out. Picture is of desert chocolate brownie it's really nice!

This is a small country cafe but very nicely decorated and service is top. Very polite and nice staffs. I must say the best Welch breakfast I have had.. food is so fresh and tasty. We were visiting from England, and really loved it. A place must visit if you go to Carmarthen.

We had a delicious lunch at Arthur’s yesterday. The staff were exceptional and were not only extremely friendly and personable but very efficient in implementing the Covid protocols. Thoroughly recommend visiting this lovely dog friendly bistro.

This is an absolute must Restaurant to visit. The moment you walk in the door the staff greet you with a welcome smile and real enthusiasm. The food is amazing, superbly cooked by a very talented chef, and most of all it's great value for money. Nikki who runs Arthur's has a fantastic restaurant here with dedicated staff who look after you, and i recommend you book in advance so you're not disappointed in missing out. 3 Visits and 3 great meals, two of which were in the evening and a third to enjoy the fantastic breakfast.
