Bird in Hand in Carmarthenshire

We popped in for a late lunch and both decided on the 2 courses for £10.95 menu. I had southern fried chicken goujons and my wife opted for the vegetable samosas to start. Both were delicious! For mains I had ham egg and chips and my wife went for lemon and garlic chicken breast. My ham and eggs was a very generous portion of ham, 2 eggs, homemade chips and peas. My wife's portion was equally generous. Represented very good value for money. We would highly recommend.

Best sirloin steak in my life so followed up a week later by trying out Sunday dinner. This too was one of the best that have had with no complaints. Well done

I visited today for the first time in over 2 years.I was with my granddaughter and her baby and toddler.What a very pleasant experience.Lovely Christmas decorations. Understated and tastefulStaff very quickly brought 2 high chairs.They were really helpful and attentiveThey very willingly heated baby food although they were very busy.Our lunch was excellent value from the set 2 courses for 10.95 menu.My very nice wine reasonably priced.We will definitely go back.Thank you.Joyce Midlane

Last time myself and my grandmother came we had a very tasty meal and really enjoyed but the second time we came the food wasn't as good. Felt like it had been a few days old and microwaved. Service has been outstanding on both occasions.

Brilliant service. The food was outstanding. Well worth a visit! They were also made our 11 month old feel very welcome!!

Had sunday lunch was amazing best dinner I have had in a long while. The veggie option was lovely. Would highly recommend there was a lovely selection of veg including cauliflower cheese my absolute favourite not many places do such a selection.
