Loads of work gone into rejuvenating a very tired looking old pub. Good luck to the new Landlord and Landlady 👍🏻

Had a great night last night thanks, the lady singer was also brillAgain thanks.

We popped in on their opening day for a quick recce. The new landlords have decorated in a lovely, contemporary style, with comfortable sofas, as well as your standard tables and chairs. We had a quick look at the menu, which seems to have something for everyone, but didn't actually see anything coming out of the kitchen to gawk at (though here were people in the dining area).

We ate here on Mother’s Day, my son having checked there were Gluten Free options as my wife is a diagnosed coeliac.The starter was fine, she had pate which came with GF bread.We all ordered the burger for the main course.Ours came with chips, my wife’s was presented as a burger on the plate with some salad.When we asked about it we were told there was no GF free rolls and it does not come with chips, which we were not told when ordering.Some roast potatoes were suggested as a substitute.Subsequently discovered them on the bill.The desserts were good, but even allowing for it being Mother’s Day the service was erratic.All in all very disappointed

Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Food was good.

Had a lovely meal here last night all staff were lovely couldn't do enough for us, we were a table of eleven and didn't have to wait long for our meals, will definitely be back there

Very nice family pub and extremely friendly. They cater for large parties and it's very well organised. Food is fantastic and you get a lot for your money. I'd recommend the mixed grill, it's cooked to your liking and tastes fantastic. Will definitely go again.
