Very kind staff and an authentic pub grub experience. Exactly the service and food options as expected with a short wait time and lovely aesthetic and atmosphere.Highly recommend for a relaxing meal with family and friends

Service is terribleThey have drinks on the menu that they can’t even make properly or don’t have the ingredients to make but didn’t ask if I wanted something different just made some cocktail up. Food was very disappointing had a share platter of chips with chipotle and cheese that most likely came out of a can and was microwaved. Main was very disappointing too came after 40 minute waiting chicken too dry and had chips when on the menu was roast potatoes. The only nice thing on there was the gammon.NEVER GOING BACK!!!!!!!!

Really accommodating for my niece's 5th birthday. Nice staff (especially Nicki). They kept our cake behind and then gave us 12 bowls and a full carton of cream free of charge. The carvery was ok. Not enough meat, even though I upgraded and the roast potatoes weren't the best. All the rest was ok though. Great kids area.

Called in on speck for lunch, what a dismal experience. Ordered a chicken dinner only to be told it’s not available settled for the rich cottage pie, the only rich thing was the profit Brewers fayre made on the meal. Having previously been in the restaurant trade my standards are quite high but the standard of this food was very low. A portion of cottage pie that had obviously been microwaved to within an inch of its life then put under a grill for a final cremation, a minute portion of peas and a small jug of brown stuff under the the name of rich wine gravy served on a large white plate looking very sparse to say the least. This is the 2nd time I’ve been there and will be the last. The first time was on a very wet day and was told that there card machine wasn’t working and I should drive into Aberdare to get some cash and come back if I wanted something to eat.not a very professional attitude.

Booked table for my mother Inlaw for her birthday and what can I say absolutely shocking the beef was still on the hoof and chicken was in gravy other ppl ordered from the menu and they was definitely not worth the money it came out cold and wasn’t enough beer to choose from. Safe to say I WILL NEVER BE BACK!!!

Had 2 adult meals and a child’s there last night all food was Luke warm and tasteless. Child’s meal was awful tiny portion counted 10 chips a table spoon of beans and 6 chicken nuggets appreciate smaller portions but this took the biscuit. 2 ciders ordered that were flat. Tasteless and very watery. Family opposite children had i pads full volume couldn’t hear anything but that. Ask sever to have a word as felt better coming from staff than us didn’t even bother ignored request. Never the best here but this was all time low. Server no please thanks etc poor manners and service Also overnight all of us had upset stomachs so won’t rush Back here at all. Very poor all round.

From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a helpful member of staff, the restaurant was clean, our food was lovely and plentiful. There were few members of staff which stuck out but only name I can remember is Rebecca, what a lovely helpful young lady! Would highly recommend here!

Placed order for meal and drinks at the bar including Cokes, given glasses and told it's refill. At the refill machine they don't supply Coke only Diet or Zero with various different flavour options, returned the glasses to the bar and told we had to buy Coke (no refund for the "Coke" that we already had asked for by not provided????). Toilets were terrible with the taps spinning round as if they were in the film exorcist. Sprayed water everywhere including over my wife. Food not great. None of the staff observing the Welsh law around face masks makes you wonder if they observe hygiene rules too. Menus all sticky, all over venues we've been since COVID have been throwaway paper ones. Won't ever return.

Stopped at the Premiere Inn booked in at 8pm so was lucky to get a room. Next door was the Brewers Fayre didn't feel like much so had the beef pie which turned out to be just enough a couple of beers and ready for bed. Staff were friendly and helpful COVID restrictions apply during my visit however everything was organised so you didn't really notice.

We entered and were taken to a table straight away as it wasn't very busy at all maybe 2 other families there at the time and given a menu of the things they didn't have (no sign of a menu of what they did have), and were told we would be served shortly.15+ mins later and we had still not been served but people who came in later than us had been served promptly yet we were ignored and forgotten about so we left. Can't give a review on how the food is because we didn't even get that far thanks to ignorant staff.
