Castle View Fish Bar in Carmarthenshire

Very poor. The chips were re cooked ,they were hard as nails, half got thrown away. For £35 , 3x cod &chips, 3x battered sausages and chips, we felt cheated. Won't be going there again. 1 star given for being open !!!!

Called in here last week for some fish and chips. Ordered cod and chips. Omg ! Best cos and chips I have had in absolutely years. Crispy outer on the chips light and fluffy inside. Batter beautifully crispy. The fish so fresh it was purest white. Will be calling again tomorrow to see the friendly owner for another superb feast. Definitely recommend this establishment. Laugharne residents are very lucky.

Had first fish and chips of the season. What a disappointment. Fish and chips were absolutely awful .Is there new people.Most was thrown in the bin.Will not be back.The fish and chips last year's were fabulous what has happened.

Lovely fish and chips , well worth the wait . However the mature lady could be more welcoming and friendly . Rather than being rude !

Lovely fish and chips very expensive .but What I noticed that the floor was very dirty and that would put me off going back there

Absolutely the best chips we've had in decades. Just delicious, golden brown, crispy, not greasy at all. The fish batter was equally great and the skinless cod inside was beautifully cooked too. Wish we lived in Laugharne!

A wet night in West Wales was warmed up by perfect fish and chips, friendly service and dreams of Dylan Thomas.

We visited Laugharne today and had fish and chips for lunch. The shop and restaurant are done out nicely but it was nice enough to sit outside and watch the world go by. Dog friendly inside and out with a water bowl and our rotti gave the sausages his seal of approval. Very generous portion, fresh cooked to order, beautiful big pieces of cod (the lemon is a nice touch) and the twice-cooked chips are absolutely delicious! Will definitely be back!

It's been a long time since I've a fish as good. All the food we had on more than one occasion was exalent, from the moment you walk you're made to feel really welcome. Disable access is good they'll adjust the tables for families, wheel chairs and buggies.
