DO NOT VISIT!This was the experience of my mother in law with my daughter.“Visited to get lunch for my 15month old granddaughter. Chose a baby portion of vegetables which she would love. Once at my table I realised that the carrots would be too big for her to handle and so I grabbed a knife and fork to be able to cut up into more manageable pieces. To my horror, I was approached by the owner to be told that I better not be eating the food as it was for a child only. I cannot believe the judgment and attitude from the staff member. 1. My granddaughter definitely wouldn’t be sharing her food with me - she’s a fantastic eater. 2. I had paid for that portion so I had every right to do what I wanted with it. 3. The most sustainable and environmentally friendly approach to food waste would be to consume it rather than see it go to landfill. There’s no wonder they don’t have a review section on their Facebook page. I had heard many rumours of this kind of behaviour but simply couldn’t fathom it could be true- now I’ve experienced it for myself I will NEVER return and will be making sure I let everyone I come into contact know of my terrible experience. They clearly don’t learn from previous experience with the track record of bad reviews recorded here, 223!!”

Purchased a meal of Pork steak with chips and peas. The chips were really over cooked and were not fresh. Pork steak also overcooked and dry. The staff member refused to give me a glass of water and told me to purchase a bottle of water which came in plastic bottles. When I bought a coffee I requested hot milk instead of cold milk to go with it, but was told that was another 50p. I have never been charged extra to have a tiny pot of hot milk at any establishment before. Will not be returning any time soon.

I have just come from Cwmcerrig farm where unfortunately the experience was let down by poor customer service. Having spent over ÂŁ22 on food and drinks I asked if I could have a small drop of water to take some tablets, however they refused and said I would have to buy a bottle of water. You would think that a farm shop promoting sustainability and local produce would support using tap water as opposed to using unnecessary plastic use for a small drop of water. I understand its a business but I had bought a drink and food and this was a medical need. This isn't something I have ever experienced anywhere else, very disappointing.

Food was good , the lady's behind the counter were Very nice and polite I can not say the same for the stone faced gentleman cutting the meat , if he doesn't want to be in the kitchen why doesn't he go and pick some veg out in the fields away from any customers

Absolutely disgusting service, my sister who is 7 months pregnant was refused a glass of water to take tablets. After asking a member of staff who stated that they did not give tap water out as it cost the business much money. After questioning this several times she gave my sister a measly drop of water and stated that it would have to be enough to take the tablets.Breakfast is extremely overpriced. We spent ÂŁ7.95 each on 3 Cwm breakfasts - almost ÂŁ24, but the issue of having a glass of tap water has well and truly disgusted us, and we would never go back there again! We were also thinking of buying products from the bakery plus fruit & veg, but there was no chance after that! Therefore Cwmcerrig has lost several customers because of this!

Delicious hot sandwich from their carvery, if a little pricey. Welsh cakes were yummy and great selection of goods. Good stop on the drive home.

Cwmcerrig farm was a most enjoyable experience. I was able to move around freely in my electric wheelchair and was able to see the products from my chair. I would highly recommend.

Ate in the cafe are. Sandwich was ok but staff weren't very friendly. No choice of bread offered, you got white but filling was good quality. The produce in the farm shop looked of good quality, well displayed. Gave the impression it was grown on site or local but not sure how much was. Prices were not cheap to say the least and you might be paying for quality but we left without purchasing anything and feel no desire to return

Went to Cwmcerrig farm shop restaurant for Sunday Lunch. It was absolutely delicious 3 different types of meat to choose from an excellent selection of vegetables and the gravy was so tasty. The staff are very welcoming and attentive. I would highly recommend a visit you definitely won't be disappointed. Be prepared to loosen your belts after eating because the portions are very generous.

Enjoyed this lovely place surrounded by fields of sheep and goats! We sat out in the gazebo area enjoying the beautiful sunshine. Four of us had a carvery with thick slices of turkey and vegetables and the other ladies had a tasty jacket with tuna mayo and sweetcorn. The produce was excellent in the shop. We all enjoyed looking around the gift shop and I spotted a perfect birthday gift to buy for someone... we all very much enjoyed our visit and will be coming back!
