Had Sunday lunch last week, absolutely brilliant, meat was just right and the potatoes were crispy on the out side and fluffy on the inside and the staff were excellent.

Really lovely Sunday roast here!Good quality meat, really tasty sides and excellent staff!Beautiful location with nice atmosphere!! Parking available in front of the restaurant, and terrace to be used in sunny days. Definitely Good value for money!

Split level beer garden, quite big.I loved the way the pub looked inside, with the bar in the center and the seating areas around it. Again quite big inside although doesn't look it from the outside. Lovely menu but a bit pricey, probably because of it's location.

Absolutely wonderful meals. We thoroughly enjoyed everything from the food to the service to the location. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend. Prefect.

Update May '22: Felinfoel no longer seems to be available. Also two other lagers had run out and no Diet Coke available. The one vegi option on the Sunday lunch menu was also unavailable. Just feel slightly sad as this has been an excellent place when running on all cylinders...maybe just an off day 🙄Previous review: one of our favourites. Menu is consistently excellent with lots of local food available. I'm happy as long as they continue serving Felinfoel beer though they do have a large range of wines and other beers. They're very dog friendly and the staff couldn't be more obliging

Wow.Booked here on a bit of a whim. A last minute break away and I do not regret it.This part of the world is beautiful and what a place to base our adventures from.We are staying in the 'loft' rooms and they are both quirky and delightful. The beds are comfy, the rooms have lots of space.. amazing. We also stayed for food on our first evening and it was too notch. We had to sit in the 'pub' but we were not disappointed.

Nice village in. Good lunch sandwiches, good beer. Good locals pub. Massive beer garden- needs attention. Beautiful village. Walks and castle.

We had food for three on Saturday 12 March. My Dad had one of the best steaks he has ever eaten. My husband had lamb that melted in the mouth and I had the chicken kiev which was plentiful and delicious. Highly recommend

Really cosy pub with friendly staff, went twice during the week we were staying for just for drinks as we had our young baby with us. Hopefully we can eat here next time as we've heard great things about the food! Would give 5 stars but the music was so gloomy, the almost constant Lewis Capaldi was a bit much. Other than that it was great!

I was looking forward to an excellent meal, but it was very disappointing especially considering the prices. The soup had a burnt taste, the scallops were tiny and only 3 of them. The steak was good and the chips, but very salty. With a good chef this pub could make a very good trade, but after the current surge in places to eat after lockdown eases it will struggle unless they improve. The pub itself is great and a nice place to drink.
