We visited as a bunch of Welsh learners and the staff were really friendly and accommodated all our levels of ability swapping between English and Welsh. The atmosphere is unselfconsciously traditional and the food excellent and modestly priced.I was amused by the notice on the window "please do not leave your children on the windowsill". Lost in translation I think! Will definitely seek this place out again next time I'm in Carmarthen.

Cute little Welsh breakfast/lunch spot. Wanted to try out the Welsh specialty - laverbread and cockles and found this place. Good value and great service.

Outstanding restaurant! Plates full of tasty, home style food that are great value. Friendly atmosphere and helpful staff.It's not the most obvious place to find, but well worth it. Will visit again when we stay in Camarthen next.
