Very busy pub in the heart of the village huge selection of drinks on offer including 4 different varieties of thatchers cider there is outside seating but I would get there early if you want a seat plenty of room inside though friendly welcome from the staff would definitely call again

Great atmosphere, great value, great pub all round. We were on holiday from England but felt very welcome. Would definitely recommend!

I work at the Portobello inn, I think it's a great pub to work for and I enjoy working there, I see a lot of old and new faces everytime I work I recommend that you come and see us and explore the place yourself without listening to people that put up bad reviews or lie about the pub

What a fab place! As a local resident, I'm ashamed to say I hadn't visited this gem for almost twenty years until today. I'm so glad I did. We were immediately welcomed by the owners family (Michelle) and the other visitors. We were treated like long last family. The interior was warm and thoughtfully decorated with nice nooks to sit in private or alternatively larger areas to be more sociable. Best of all though we're the extremely cheap drinks. I will definitely be visiting again soon
