Took my wife here on Sunday for a carvery. I had beef pork and turkey, the beef melted in my mouth. Very generous portions. Had the homemade cheesecake for desert which was very tasty. Staff were very helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Have already booked agim for next Sunday. Well worth a visit

Arrived at 6pm to a quiet restaurant. Waited 35 minutes for 3 basic mushroom starters then another hour for the mains. When the steak came out it was overdone and the mash was 'smash' . When we raised how unhappy we were there was an argument about why we didn't say earlier and we had to argue for any form of discount of 3 mains we basically didn't touch. Avoid!!!

Went for a last minute Sunday carvery, before going we wasn't expecting much but to our delight it was absolutely stunning! Staff were outstanding especially the head chef, they kept checking how we all was and made sure we had everything we wanted. Definitely will be returning

Booked a table to go for a pre baby meal for our good friend over the phone, lady in the phone was very helpful and a pleasure to speak to.Team were happy for me to decorate the table prior to our arrival, which was fabulous. On our arrival, entire team were attentive, kept us informed at every stage, made everything feel smooth running from start to finish when seating us.Plenty of choice on the menu for everyone. Pleased to see a vegan menu for myself which was lovely. Food was served very quickly, considering the menu specified there may be a wait, as menu items were fresh and homemade. Food was lovely and hot.Waiting and bar staff were lovely, very attentive, provided menu recommendations, were knowledgable and made sure we had everything we needed, but also checked on our table throughout our visit. Drinks were lovely, good selection of largers and beers on tap. We had a lovely evening, a good meal. We thoroughly enjoyed. Restaurant and bar were very cozy, warm and lovely and clean. We'd definitely come again. Thank you team at The Red Kite. X

We were there for a wake after a family members funeral. They had laid on a Buffet with plenty of food which was served to you, it did make me laugh when the person doing the serving asked if you wanted crisps,he served them with a spoon he was lucky to get 1 on perhaps when a Buffet is on a pair of tongs would be better. Other than that it was excellent.

Lovely atmosphere and staff. The food was brilliant and there was a lot of it. Probably the nicest sweet potato fries I have ever had. Shame we were too full to try a dessert but there is always next time. Prices are a little high but still highly recommended for a quiet meal out.

Nice pub restaurant, rump steak cooked exceptionally well. Not so good was what tasted uncooked crumble on the apple desert , which was sent back.Another general point was there was no outside lighting on when returning back to the carpark.Would we return? Probably yes as I do like a good steak.
